Description

    FIELD OF INVENTION
  • This invention is about the earring which stimulates acupoints of the ear like ear acupuncture and provides easy wearing with fashionable feature.
  • BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
  • Generally, auricular acupuncture is a kind of acupuncture treatment based on ancient oriental medicine and it is a well-known fact that it has been widely used to treat many kinds of diseases and developed as professional medicine. Throughout history, it has been popular that women have used earrings piercing holes in the lobe as a decoration of beauty, and it has been also proved to be effective to treat various diseases as a kind of ear acupuncture. Besides, folk remedies such as treating conjunctivitis by applying acupuncture in the lobe and treating the sore throat by applying acupuncture in the back of the ear have been handed down.
  • Modern auricular acupuncture was developed by French doctor Nogier. He got a hint from the fact that the pain of waist and leg was treated by burning the ear and after successful clinical results, he reported it to the International Acupuncture Association held in Marseille of French in 1956. He viewed the ear as resembling an upside down fetus with all the body parts proportionately arranged in and on the ear. Dr. Nogier noticed that there was a distinct change in the amplitude and dimension of the pulse when certain points on the auricle were stimulated. And he systematized and studied the distribution and precise location of acupoints of the ear. Modern auricular therapy is used to reduce pain and has shown effective treatment of the nervous system, the endocrine system, and even it is used for anesthesia. Recently, ear acupuncture is being used for quitting smoking.
  • Like this, ear acupuncture starts with the principle that our whole body is reflected by the ear. That is, every part of the ear reflects whole body: earlobe to head, cartilage to spine, upper part of the auricle to leg, arm, wrist, and inner part of the ear reflects the five viscera and the six entrails. The core of ear acupuncture is that every responding point of the ear corresponds to human organs. The ear has about 270 acupoints and almost 150 of them are being used clinically. And 95 standard acupoints are used worldwide and anybody can use simple ear acupuncture for treatment when they learn the diagnostic skill of these 95 acupoints.
  • Ear acupuncture is a method of treatment and prevention by using the acupoints of the ear and it has a long history of use in China. It is also recorded in the most famous ancient Chinese medical textbooks, “The Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine.” And in the Ming-dynasty, the auriculotherapy maps were made and used for diagnosis and treatment. Since the establishment of People's Republic of China, ear acupuncture had made remarkable progress until the assignment of “The International Standardization of Ear Acupuncture Proposal” by WHO in 1980s, and basic contents were passed in 1987 to complete the standardization of ear acupuncture. Among the treatments of ear acupuncture of using the acupoints of the ear, there are direct acupuncture treatment, magnetic treatment, phlebotomy treatment, massage treatment, and pressure treatment. Direct acupuncture treatment and phlebotomy treatment are mostly used.
  • For the direct acupuncture treatment, as illustrated in picture1, a T-shape apparatus with a sticker (1) and a little needle (3) to attach to the acupoints of the ear is provided, and this apparatus is widely used because of easy use. However, this direct acupuncture treatment using this apparatus can cause pain and wound because a sharp needle is pricked and also cause inflammations when the wounded part is exposed. Furthermore, a few apparatus must be used when acupoints are together because the number of needle is limited to one for an apparatus, and it is hard to attach and bad looking. Besides, pressuring the ear is totally dependent on the adhesive power of a sticker and the pressuring power diminishes as times go by. And it is not reusable once used. This T-shape apparatus for direct acupuncture treatment has various problems because of using the sticker method.

And the hinge, as illustrated in FIGS. 6 and 8, is made of metal or precious metal to form mutual combination. And the linking part, as illustrated in FIGS. 6 and 8, can be extended to the opposite part of the hinge, and a pressing part 280 is formed to open the pair of parts by hand.
  • Another application example of the linking part, as illustrated in FIG. 4, the elastic part is formed to make the pair of parts 100 adhesive closely by own elasticity. And the magnetic 500 is formed at least in one inside part for adhesion. That is, by this magnetic, the adhesive power between both parts 100 and supporting part can be improved and general treatment by using magnetic is possible. And it is natural that the opposite magnetic such as metal is formed at the opposite side. Especially, above-mentioned magnetic protrusion 400 can be close adhesive reflecting to the magnetic 500.
  • Therefore, according to the structure of this invention, it has a beautiful look and easy to use, and as illustrated in FIGS. 12 and 13, it is designed to stimulate the acupoints of the ear. It is effective not only for decoration but for treatment, and furthermore, it is possible to adjust distance to apply various types of the ear and it is more convenient because it can stimulate precise spots.
  • For quitting smoking, thirst, hunger, endocrine, neurogate, trachea can be stimulated, for stopping drinking, thirst, hunger, endocrine, neurogate, liver, stomach can be stimulated, and for weight control, thirst, hunger, endocrine, neurogate, stomach can be stimulated easily for treatment.
  • For instance, obesity can be treated by stimulating the acupoints of the ear that can result in controlling appetite and feeling satisfied. At this time, acupuncture points can be changed according to the endocrine, stress, and gastroenteric disorder, and acupuncture for suppressing appetite is at hunger, neurogate, stomach, endocrine. The light press 1˜2 times a week is all right whenever one feels appetite. It is effective after a certain time when the stimulus is given to the responding parts of the ear which are connected to major internal organs. At this time, the sensory and blood part of the ear respond to activate the cerebral cortex, and it causes suppressing appetite and the diuretic effect. This controls appetite and is effective in sedation and diuresis to reduce the consumption of calories, improve metabolism of sodium, and delay the speed of digestion. Therefore, it is useful to lose about 2 kg of weight a month as a supporting method of treating obesity.
  • FIG. 15 thru 20 are as different applications of this invention with magnetic. FIG. 21 thru 24 are as a different diet earring applications of this invention.
  • Besides these application examples of this invention, those who have basic knowledge about this field can apply this invention to various kinds of treatment. Therefore, actual technical protection scope of this invention must be decided according to attached technical claims.
