Abstract

This is a card game for the 21st century The card game is called Wordspong The card game has antonyms words stamped on the front of them And the year stamped on the back of them.
These words antonyms are opposites in their meanings The game has 52 antonym cards total for playing the game.
Example antonyms matched: cold/hot.
Each player gets 5 cards a piece. The first player to match the last antonym card In their hand say, “I Win Wordspong”.
I plan to bring this game out every year in the 21st century on different colored card stock.
I also plan to put these antonyms on flash cards to aid teachers in teaching word antonyms that have opposite meanings.

Description

  • The game is made up of words called antonyms.
  • These words are opposite in their meanings.
  • There will be 52 antonym cards in the Wordspong Deck.
  • Each deck will have it's own colors for the proper year in the 21st century.
  • SPECIFICATIONS PROCESS FOR MAKING THE CARD GAME WORDSPONG 1. Taking card stock and cutting it 3½ inches in length to make the card game 2. And by cutting it 2½ inches in width for each card. 3. The card stock will be in assorted colors for each year in the 21st century. 4. The year will be printed or stamped on the back of each antonym card. 5. The antonyms will be printed or stamped on the front of each card. 6. This is how to make the Wordspong deck of cards. SPECIFICATIONS FOR USING THE GAME 1. There will be a list stating the object of the Wordspong game. 2. There will be a list of Rules for the Wordspong game. 3. There will be a list of instructions for starting the Wordspong game for players. 4. The game can be played up to four players at one time. SPECIFICATION OBJECT OF GAME
  • When a player has paired the last antonym card with its opposite in their hand, the player wins the game by saying “I win, Wordspong”.
  • This is done by using other players' antonyms discard or by pulling from the antonym card deck when it's the player's turn.
  • There are three total antonym matches:
      • 1. Match one-paired calls Pong
      • 2. Match two paired calls Pong
      • 3. Match the last card in a player's hand
  • This is called, “I Win Wordspong”.
  • SPECIFICATION OBJECT OF GAME
  • If the player cannot win the game Because another player is holding the antonym match, The game will end in a draw.
  • SPECIFICATION RULES
  • For the Card Game Wordspong A player cannot exchange any antonyms they are holding in their hand For any other antonyms that they pull from the antonyms deck.
  • The player must play the antonyms that they are dealt.
  • The player can use any other player discard, even if the discard is Laying dead, provided it's the player turn to play.
  • This is done by saying “Pong, I can Match”.
  • When the player has matched their last antonyms card they say, “I Win Wordspong”.
  • SPECIFICATION INSTRUCTION
  • Starting the Wordspong Game
      • 1. Shuffle and deal cards
      • 2. Each player gets five cards
      • 3. When it is the player's turn
  • The player can lay down the Paired match antonyms they are holding in their hand By saying, “Pong”, which must be said.
  • When the player can pair the last card in their hand the player says, “I Win Wordspong.”

Claims (2)

1. This is an invention of mine to design a game made up of words called antonyms.
Antonyms are words that have opposite meanings.
Here is an example of two antonyms: cold/hot.
The idea is to place these antonym words on a card stock totaling 52 cards in a deck.
My idea is to bring this game out every year in the 21st century Starting from the year 2000, as a back order should the game go into production in a current year.
My idea is to print or stamp the proper year on the back of each card In the card game deck.
My idea is to bring this game out on colored card stock with a different color for Each year in the 21st century starting from the year 2000 to the year 2099.
My idea is to put the antonyms from this list on the front of my cards.

THESE ARE THE ANTONYMS FOR THE CARD GAME I CALL AND CLAIM AS MY IDEA FOR THE GAME I CALL WORDSPONG!
2. I, Jesse Hixon, claim as my idea to bring the Wordspong antonyms out on flash cards to be used as a teacher aid for teaching antonyms of opposite meanings. The specifications for this will be optional for my choosing.
