Description
- The present invention relates to an exercise machine for sit-up in sitting posture. More particularly, to an improved sit-up exercise machine that can be used in sitting posture and functions to exercise several parts of belly.
- Sit-up is one of the exercises that can help beautify belly and waist part of human body. At present people in our country pay more and more attention to the maintenance of posture, and sit-up becomes more and more popular in daily life. In order to improve the convenience and effect of sit-up, several kinds of sit-up exercise machines provided in market.
- Conventional sit-up exercise machine that can be used in both sitting and lying posture, as illustrated in
FIG. 7 , comprises a sit-upchair 40, which has a head-rest 42 on one end thereof andhandgrips 44 that can be held by the user. - Taiwan patent publication No. 494775 disclosed an improved sit-up exercise machine that lies in the sit-up chair can move in the elongated hole. Besides, Taiwan patent publication No. M285366 disclosed another improved sit-up exercise machine that there are several rollers in the central portion of the waist part. However, the above-mentioned constructions are not able to exercise particular parts of the belly according to user's need in practical exercise. It is well known to the exercisers that, more than 6 or 8 abdominal muscles can be formed through exercise. Still, conventional sit-up exercise machine can only make exercisers move from lying posture to bending posture from a fixed lying angle, and the users are subject to doing sit-up exercise blindly, which can only exercise muscles of belly and waist at most, but can not exercise particular parts of belly and waist effectively.
- Accordingly, the main object of the present invention is to provide an improved sit-up exercise machine that can be used in sitting posture and functions to exercise several parts of belly, which comprises a sit-up chair and an underlay pivotally connected to the front of the sit-up chair, and the chair consists of at least a back-support, a holding rod, and an adjustable axle seat, wherein said adjustable axle seat is disposed on both sides of the chair, pivotally connects the back-support and the holding rod front and rear by pivot connection element on the top surface of the seat and adjusts the angle between the back-support and the holding rod in the range of several sections. Therefore, it can realize body-building and exercise of different parts of belly.
