Abstract
An exercising device includes a main frame, a support frame pivotally mounted on the main frame, and an arc-shaped rocking bar fixed on the main frame. Thus, the rocking bar is arc-shaped so as to satisfy the ergonomic design, so that the user can operate the exercising device in a comfortable and safe manner. In addition, the user can operate the exercising device easily and conveniently, thereby facilitating the user operating the exercising device.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to an exercising device, and more particularly to an exercising device for exercising a user's waist.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- A conventional
exercising device 80 in accordance with the prior art shown inFIG. 1 is used to exercise the user's waist. However, the conventional exercisingdevice 80 cannot be operated smoothly, thereby easily incurring the sport damage. In addition, the user has to exert a larger force to operate the conventional exercisingdevice 80, so that the user consumes much energy and cannot achieve the exercising effect. - The present invention is to mitigate and/or obviate the disadvantage of the conventional exercising device.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an exercising device for exercising a user's waist.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide an exercising device, wherein the user has to exert a force to overcome the elastic force of the belts, thereby achieving the purpose of exercising the user's body.
- A further objective of the present invention is to provide an exercising device, wherein the rocking bar is arc-shaped so as to satisfy the ergonomic design, so that the user can operate the exercising device in a comfortable and safe manner.
- A further objective of the present invention is to provide an exercising device, wherein the user can operate the exercising device easily and conveniently, thereby facilitating the user operating the exercising device.
- In accordance with the present invention, there is provided an exercising device comprising:

- a main frame;
- a support frame pivotally mounted on the main frame; and
- an arc-shaped rocking bar fixed on the main frame.
- Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 4 is a partially side plan operational view of the exercising device as shown inFIG. 2 ; -
FIG. 5 is a partially side plan view of the exercising device as shown inFIG. 2 ; -
FIG. 6 is a schematic operational view of the exercising device as shown inFIG. 5 in use; -
FIG. 7 is a schematic operational view of the exercising device as shown inFIG. 2 in use; and -
FIG. 8 is a schematic operational view of the exercising device as shown inFIG. 7 . - Referring to the drawings and initially to
FIGS. 2 and 3 , an exercising device in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises amain frame 10, aretractable bar 20, two operation handles 25, asupport frame 30, and an arc-shaped rocking bar 60. - The
main frame 10 has a first end formed with a plurality of adjustingholes 14 and a second end provided with atransverse support bar 11. Themain frame 10 has a mediate portion provided with a fixedtube 13. Themain frame 10 is provided with two fixingplates 12 for mounting abackrest 40 by a plurality ofscrew members 90. - The
retractable bar 20 is retractably mounted on the first end of themain frame 10 and has a first end formed with apositioning hole 24 aligning with one of the adjusting holes 14 of themain frame 10 and a second end provided with a transverse fixingbar 21 for mounting ahead cushion 50 by a plurality ofscrew members 900. - The exercising device further comprises a substantially V-shaped
elastic plate 22 mounted in theretractable bar 20 and having a distal end provided with apositioning stub 220 extended through thepositioning hole 24 of theretractable bar 20 and detachably locked in one of the adjusting holes 14 of themain frame 10. - Each of the two operation handles 25 is adjustably mounted on the
support bar 11 of themain frame 10. Each of the two operation handles 25 has a first end provided with aprotective grip 26 and a substantially arc-shaped second end. Each of the two operation handles 25 has a mediate portion provided with a transverse adjustingbar 27 adjustably mounted in thesupport bar 11 of themain frame 10. - The
support frame 30 is substantially inverted Y-shaped and is pivotally mounted on themain frame 10. Thesupport frame 30 has a first end formed with a substantiallyU-shaped pivot rack 32 pivotally mounted on the fixedtube 13 of themain frame 10 by abolt 34 and anut 36 and a second end formed with twosupport legs 38 each pivotally provided with aroller 31 by abolt 902 and anut 904. Thepivot rack 32 of thesupport frame 30 is provided with a protrudinglimit rod 80. - The rocking
bar 60 has two ends each fixed on themain frame 10 by ascrew member 906. The rockingbar 60 is provided with a protrudinglimit rod 802. - The exercising device further comprises two
opposite belts 70 each having a first end secured on an end of thelimit rod 802 of the rockingbar 60 and a second end secured on an end of thelimit rod 80 of thepivot rack 32 of thesupport frame 30. - As shown in
FIGS. 2-4 , thepositioning stub 220 of theelastic plate 22 mounted in theretractable bar 20 is extended through thepositioning hole 24 of theretractable bar 20 and detachably locked in one of the adjusting holes 14 of themain frame 10, so that theretractable bar 20 is retractably mounted on the first end of themain frame 10 to adjust the height of thehead cushion 50 so as to fit users of different heights. - In operation, referring to
FIGS. 2-8 , the user's two hands hold theprotective grips 26 of the two operation handles 25, with his/her back being rested on thebackrest 40, and with his/her head being rested on thehead cushion 50 as shown inFIG. 7 . Then, the user's body is moved backward to press themain frame 10 backward as shown inFIG. 8 so as to rock the rockingbar 60 and to pivot thesupport frame 30, so that thesupport frame 30 is pivoted from the position as shown inFIG. 5 to the position as shown inFIG. 6 to extending thebelts 70. Thus, the user has to exert a force to overcome the elastic force of thebelts 70, thereby achieving the purpose of exercising the user's waist. - Accordingly, the user has to exert a force to overcome the elastic force of the
belts 70, thereby achieving the purpose of exercising the user's body. In addition, the rockingbar 60 is arc-shaped to satisfy the ergonomic design, so that the user can operate the exercising device in a comfortable and safe manner. Further, the user can operate the exercising device easily and conveniently, thereby facilitating the user operating the exercising device. - Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
Claims (14)
1. An exercising device comprising:
a main frame;
a support frame pivotally mounted on the main frame; and
an arc-shaped rocking bar fixed on the main frame.
2. The exercising device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the support frame is substantially inverted Y-shaped.
3. The exercising device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the main frame has a mediate portion provided with a fixed tube, and the support frame has a first end formed with a substantially U-shaped pivot rack pivotally mounted on the fixed tube of the main frame by a bolt and a nut.
4. The exercising device in accordance with claim 3 , wherein the support frame has a second end formed with two support legs each pivotally provided with a roller by a bolt and a nut.
5. The exercising device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the pivot rack of the support frame is provided with a protruding limit rod, the rocking bar is provided with a protruding limit rod, and the exercising device further comprises two opposite belts each having a first end secured on an end of the limit rod of the rocking bar and a second end secured on an end of the limit rod of the pivot rack of the support frame.
6. The exercising device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the rocking bar has two ends each fixed on the main frame by a screw member.
7. The exercising device in accordance with claim 1 , further comprising a retractable bar retractably mounted on the first end of the main frame.
8. The exercising device in accordance with claim 7 , wherein the main frame has a first end formed with a plurality of adjusting holes, the retractable bar has a first end formed with a positioning hole aligning with one of the adjusting holes of the main frame, and the exercising device further comprises a substantially V-shaped elastic plate mounted in the retractable bar and having a distal end provided with a positioning stub extended through the positioning hole of the retractable bar and detachably locked in one of the adjusting holes of the main frame.
9. The exercising device in accordance with claim 7 , wherein the retractable bar has a second end provided with a transverse fixing bar for mounting a head cushion by a plurality of screw members.
10. The exercising device in accordance with claim 1 , further comprising two operation handles each mounted on the main frame.
11. The exercising device in accordance with claim 10 , wherein the main frame has a second end provided with a transverse support bar, and each of the two operation handles is adjustably mounted on the support bar of the main frame.
12. The exercising device in accordance with claim 11 , wherein each of the two operation handles has a mediate portion provided with a transverse adjusting bar adjustably mounted in the support bar of the main frame.
13. The exercising device in accordance with claim 10 , wherein each of the two operation handles has a first end provided with a protective grip and a substantially arc-shaped second end.
14. The exercising device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the main frame is provided with two fixing plates for mounting a backrest by a plurality of screw members.
