Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a grease-guiding structure, and more particularly to a grease-guiding structure for a kitchen ventilator.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Arts
  • A kitchen ventilator is used to exhaust heat and oil smoke produced during cooking. The operation manner of the ventilator, the assembly position and the power will affect the work efficiency of the ventilator. Besides these factors, the dirty oil collected by the ventilation also should be considered. All of the conventional ventilations are equipped with grease cup that serves to collect the dirty oil and prevent the oil dropping to the floor or the gas cooker. In this case, the grease guiding structure plays an important role in kitchen ventilation, to invent a good grease guiding structure is the motivation of the present invention.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary object of the present invention is to provide a grease guiding structure for a kitchen ventilator, which is used to prevent dirty oil from dropping to the gas cooker or the floor when cooking.
  • A grease guiding structure for kitchen ventilation in accordance with one aspect of the present invention includes:
  • a housing, inside of which formed with a flow passage, and a fan housing disposed in the flow passage;
  • a grease-guiding ring provided with a guiding groove, at a lowest portion of the guiding groove formed with a mouth, and the grease-guiding ring is located in the flow passage of the housing;
  • a grease-guiding tray, on a periphery of which provided with a stopper that is located a distance above a surface of the grease-guiding tray, a stripe hole formed between both ends of the stopper, the grease-guiding tray is fixed to a lower end of the grease-guiding ring in a manner that the stripe hole is aligned to the mouth of the grease-guiding ring;
  • a grease cup detachably fixed to a lower end of the grease-guiding tray and corresponded to the stripe hole.
  • The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, which shows, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiments in accordance with the present invention.

  • FIG. 2 is a cross sectional view of a grease guiding structure for kitchen ventilator in accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 3 is a partial amplified view of FIG. 2;
  • FIG. 4 is another cross sectional view of a grease guiding structure for kitchen ventilator in accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 5 is a partial amplified view of FIG. 4;
  • FIG. 6 is an exploded view of a grease guiding structure for kitchen ventilator in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 7 is a cross sectional view of a grease guiding structure for kitchen ventilator in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 8 is a partial amplified view of FIG. 8.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Referring to FIGS. 1-5, a grease guiding structure for a kitchen ventilator is shown and generally comprises a housing 10, a grease-guiding ring 20, a grease-guiding tray 30 and a grease cup 40.
  • The housing 10, inside of which is formed with a flow passage 11. A fan housing 12 is disposed in the flow passage 11, at the lowest portion of the fan housing 12 a guiding pipe 13 is provided.
  • The grease-guiding ring 20 has a u-shaped cross section, which is provided with a guiding groove 21 that is arranged in an inclined manner. At the lowest portion of the guiding groove 21 a mouth 22 is formed, and a connecting portion 23 is provided at an inner side of the guiding groove 21. The grease-guiding ring 20 is integrally formed at a lower end of the housing 10, and the guiding groove 21 is aligned to the guiding pipe 13 of the housing 10.
  • The grease-guiding tray 30, on a periphery of which 11 welding portions 31 are distributed. On the welding portions 31 are welded with a stopper 32 that is located a distance 33 above the surface of the grease-guiding tray 30. A stripe hole 34 is formed between both ends of the stopper 32, and at the edge of which a locking portion 341 is formed and a corresponding rail 342 is formed and extended outward at the edge of the lower portion of the stripe hole 34. The locking portion 341 of the grease-guiding tray 30 is locked with a connecting member 35 that is connected to outer side of the lower end of the housing 10. Another connecting member 35 is provided at the surface of the grease-guiding tray 30, which is to be connected to the connecting portion 23 of the grease-guiding ring 20. By such arrangements, the grease-guiding tray 30 is fixed to the lower end of the grease-guiding ring 20 in a manner that the stripe hole 34 is aligned to the mouth 22 of the grease-guiding ring 20.
  • The grease cup 40, on an upper end of which a sliding rail 41 is formed and extended outward so as to cooperate with the rail 342 of the grease-guiding tray 30. In this case, the grease cup 40 is detachably fixed to the lower end of the grease-guiding tray 30 and corresponded to the stripe hole 34.
  • Referring in particular to FIGS. 3 and 5, when the kitchen ventilator is in use, the fan housing 12 will exhaust the oil smoke upward out of the kitchen. Initially the oil (indicated by arrow) flows inward from surrounding periphery toward the center, and part of the oil smoke will be stopped and filtered by the stopper 32 of the oil-guiding tray 30. The filtered oil will flow to the grease-guiding cup 30 along the stopper 32, and finally flow to the grease cup 40 through the stripe hole 43 of the grease-guiding cup 30.
  • In addition, the oil inside the flow passage 11 of the housing 10, along the sidewall of the flow passage, flows to the guiding groove 21 of the grease-guiding ring 20. Since the guiding groove 21 is inclined, and the mouth 22 is correspondingly located above the stripe hole 34 of the grease-guiding tray 30, the contaminated oil in the guiding groove 21 will flow to the grease cup 40.
  • On the other hand, since the guiding pipe 13 is provided at the lowest portion of the fan housing 12, and an outlet of the guiding pipe 13 is located above the guiding groove 21 of the grease-guiding ring 20, the oil collected by the fan housing 12, via the guiding pipe 13, will flow to the grease cup 40. By such arrangements, the oil can be guided and collected without dropping to the floor or to the gas cooker.
  • Referring further to FIGS. 6-8, a grease guiding structure for kitchen ventilator in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention is shown and also including: a housing 10, a grease-guiding ring 20, a grease-guiding tray 30 and a grease cup 40. The structure of the respective parts is identical to the first embodiment, further remarks on this matter would seem superfluous. Therefore, only the differences are explained as follows:
  • The housing 10, a lower end of which is folded inward to form an upstanding hook portion 14. A ring-shaped guiding plate 15 is welded to the inner wall of the flow passage 11 in the housing 10 in a manner that the a lower edge of the ring-shaped plate 15 is aligned to the guiding groove 21 of the grease-guiding ring 20, so as to guide the oil into the guiding groove 21.
  • An outer side of the guiding groove 21 of the grease-guiding ring 20 is bent to form a downward hook portion 24, which is employed to mesh with the hook portion 14 of the housing 10. In such a manner that the grease-guiding ring 20 can be detachably fixed to the lower end of the housing 10. Since the operational methods and the function of the second embodiment is the same as the first embodiment, further explanations on this matter would be omitted.
  • While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
