Abstract
Golf Boll Finder [GBF] is used to locate lost golf ball with in 26 feet of the lying golf ball. The product will have two parts, Golf balls with transmitter inside or metal paint on the outside and locations devices that will be hand-held. Hand held device would have lights and sound so as the device gets closer to the golf ball the device will get brighter and louder. This device has a diameter of 26 feet limit of sensing the golf ball. This product will meet all standard for the PGA and will be sold worldwide. We may different manufactures of the golf ball besides our self's.
Description
- Locator element: a small item that is the size of a TV clicker. This element will have a on/off function, display, sounding generation, receiving detecting element, and energy source.
- Detecting element: will have to types of designs which will depend on market cost data. Detecting elements will be both “electric and magnetic” and will be applied to an object [Golf Ball] by adding it to the internal or external part of the object [Golf Ball]
- Range sensing electronic element: Detecting the element will have a design that will allow a used to begin within 26 feet of the item and guide the user to the object [Golf Ball] this design is electronic and magnetic in applications.
- Model:
- Lost Object with Detecting elements - - - 26 feet - - - Locator Device
- Application: our product design will be first tried in the golfing market to find lost golf balls. We declare the rights to apply this design to other industries and markets as can be defined a need for this technique. This is not contained to the sporting markets or golfing. We will apply this design to Other areas as the need become ready.
- Specifications of the complete pieces will be declared after the Design/Utility patent is declared. We will then move to proto typing and trails testing this be expecting in the summer of 2003.
- Product Package
- Golf balls will be sold in sets of 3, 6, 12 in three different models, detecting, transmitting, and sensing paint with option for customer painting.
- Wands will be sold individually, sets, and in kit with goofballs to meet market demand.
- Sets of golf balls and wands will be sold as Starter Kits of each type.
- Specification Golf Balls
- Golf balls will be made to meet the standard weight and size of golf balls today. We am adding a transmitter, passives sensor to the inside, or metal point to the outside of a golf ball to be used as a detecting point for the wands.
- The golf ball [GBT] with transmitting device will transmitt at a 49.xxx mhz rate to the wand with the receiver.
- Golf ball [GBS] with a sensing device will be added to as a passive sensor. This would be the same as the cd in a music store having a passive device the is detected by the screening wands at the door and setting of the alarm. Small device will be added to the golf ball and the wand will pickup the device inside ball with in a diameter of 26 feet.
- Metal Paint will be imprinted on the outside of the golf ball [GBC] with a tool/press. Ink like material with elements of Titanium, graphite, iron mixed, as a compound will make up the INK/Paint substance. The substance will be know as TGIM and will be applied to the tool/press, golf ball will be inserted and the letters will be added to the golf ball with TGIM. TGIM will be detectable by the wand system.
- Specification of Wand
- Lost Golf Ball Wand [LGBW] will be the device used to detect the all three type of golf balls. Three wands will be made to support each type of Starter Kit.
- Lost Golf Ball Wand will receiving the 49 .xxxmhz signal will be called [LGBWR] and will have a LED display of 7 leds which will light in progression until all are on to locate the golf ball. Sound of alarm will increase as one moves closer to the golf ball. An On/Off switch will be on the wand for the sound. Wands will have different forms like a golf club, TV clicker, Cell Phone, Stick, and some will be customer specificity.
- Lost golf ball wand that will use the sensing of a passive device will detect the passive device inside the golf ball at a diameter of 26 feet from the object.
- Lost golf ball wand that will detect the metal paint will use a magnetic pick up in the wand to detect the paint on the ball.
Claims (1)
1. Devices to find a golf ball object that has a detecting element in or on the item by using a locator to sense the detecting element setting of a display and sound that will guide the person to the detecting element. Range for the device and detecting element is maximum of 26 feet.
