Abstract
A tying combination for package includes a handle, a pair of connecting plates, and two strings. The connecting plates are connected to two ends of the handle, and each has two slots substantially parallel to each other. The strings are connected to slots of a respective one of the connecting plates, and are each equipped with an adjustment member for adjusting length of the string with. A package can be lifted and carried by means of holding and lifting the handle when the strings are fastened around the package.
Description
- The present invention relates to a tying combination for package, and more particularly to a tying combination for package that can be easily fastened around the package, and allows the package to be easily lifted and carried.
- Goods and objects to be transported or carried are usually packed together firmly and wrapped in paper to become package. After paper is wrapped around the goods, adhesive tapes or plastic strings are fastened around the package for preventing the same from falling apart in transportation.
- However, these conventional methods of tying a package is found to have disadvantages as followings:
- 1. When adhesive tapes are used to keep all parts of the package together, it is difficult to lift or carry the package because one person only can hold the package with his hands and arms.
- 2. When plastic strings are used to keep all parts of the package together, the plastic strings are prone to fall off the package when they are pulled for lifting the package, especially when the package is relatively heavy in weight.
- 3. Many plastic strings have to be used around a package for a firm packing because the strings are elastic. Consequently, it costs relatively much labor and time to fasten plastic strings around a package, especially when the package is heavy and big.
- Therefore, it is a main object of the present invention to provide a tying combination for package that can be easily fastened around the package, and helps the package to be lifted and carried.
- It is another object of the present invention to provide such a handle to the tying combination that can be presented with various shapes and colors to be attractive. And, the handle can be made to consist of separate parts that are different colors so that the same is still more attractive.
- It is yet another object of the present invention to provide such a handle to the tying combination that is luminous for helping people to find the same in the dark.
- The present invention will be better understood by reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein:
- FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of the tying combination for package according to the present invention.
- FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the tying combination for package of the second embodiment.
- FIG. 3 is a fragmentary exploded perspective view of the tying combination for package of the third embodiment.
- FIG. 4 is a partial cross-sectional view of the tying combination for package of the third embodiment.
- FIG. 5 is a fragmentary exploded perspective view of the tying combination for package of the fourth embodiment.
- FIG. 6 is a partial cross-sectional view of the tying combination for package of the fourth embodiment.
- FIG. 7 is a view illustrating the use of the tying combination according to the first embodiment of the invention.
- FIG. 8 is a view illustrating the use of the tying combination according to another embodiment of the invention.
- FIG. 9 is a view illustrating the use of the tying combination according to yet another embodiment of the invention.
- Referring to FIG. 2, a tying combination for package according to the present invention includes a
handle 1, a pair of connectingplates 2, and twostrings 3. The connectingplates 2 are connected to two ends of thehandle 1 at inner ends thereof; thehandle 1 can be integrated with the connectingplates 2 when it is being formed or fastened to the connectingplates 2 after it has been made. Thestrings 3 are made of tough and hard-wearing materials. - Referring to FIG. 1, which shows the first embodiment of the invention, the
handle 1 has connectingrooms 12 at two ends thereof, and is fitted ontoinward insertion sections 21 of the connectingplates 2 at theconnecting rooms 12;bolts 211 are screwed into holes of thehandle 1 and throughholes 212 of theplates 2 to fasten the connectingplates 2 to thehandle 1. The connectingplates 2 each has twoslots 22 that are substantially parallel to each other. Each of thestrings 3 is connected to theslots 22 of a respective one of the connectingplates 2, and is provided with anadjustment member 31 so that thestrings 3 can be adjusted in length with which. - Furthermore, the
handle 1 is provided with a corrugated surface, andanti-slip protrusions 11 on the surface. The connectingplates 2 each has a concavelycurved portion 23 that is adjacent to thehandle 1, and will face down when the tying combination is fastened to a package; thus, when people having relatively wide palms hold thehandle 1 to carry the package, the connectingplates 2 can't touch the palms to cause inconvenience. - Thus, a package can be lifted and carried by means of holding and lifting the
handle 1 when thestrings 3 are fastened around the package with thehandle 1 being disposed on top of the package. - Referring to FIG. 8, the connecting
plates 2 are each provided with anauxiliary slot 24 that can be arranged perpendicular to theslots 22. Anauxiliary string 3 is connected to theauxiliary slots 24 at two ends so that it can be passed around the package in a different direction for helping fasten the tying combination to the package; theauxiliary string 3 is also equipped with anadjustment member 31 for adjusting length thereof with. - Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, a
handle 1 of the second embodiment is provided with an upper and alower parts insertion sections 21 of the connectingplates 2 are sandwiched between the upper and thelower parts handle 1 withbolts 211 being screwed into holes (not numbered) of thehandle 1 and throughholes 212 of theplates 2 to fasten the connectingplates 2 to thehandle 1. - Referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, according to a third embodiment of the invention, the
handle 1 is provided with an upper and alower parts plates 2 are connected to each other at inward ends of theextension portions 21. Theinsertion sections 21 of the connectingplates 2 are disposed between the upper and thelower parts bolts 211 being screwed into holes (not numbered) of thehandle 1 and throughholes 212 of theplates 2 to fasten the connectingplates 2 to thehandle 1. - In addition, all of the above handles are made of materials having luminous substance added thereto so that the handles are luminous.
- And, the upper and the
lower parts - From the above description, it can be easily understood that the tying combination for package of the present invention has advantages as followings:
- 1. The anti-slip protrusions and corrugated surface allows the user to hold the handle firmly in lifting and carrying the package, to which the tying combination is fastened.
- 2. The strings can be easily fastened to a package because the adjustments are provided for allowing length of the strings to be adjusted easily.
- 3. The auxiliary string helps prevent the tying combination from falling off the package.
- 4. The strings are tough and hard-wearing, therefore there is reduced risk of the strings breaking to cause packages to fall down when the packages are being lifted.
- 5. The handle can be presented with various shapes and colors to be attractive. And, when the handle is made of two separate parts, the parts can be different colors for the handle to become still more attractive.
- 6. The concavely curved portions of the connecting plates provide extra rooms for preventing the connecting plates from touching the palms of users of the tying combination to cause inconvenience.
- 7. The handle is luminous so as to help people find the packages in the dark.
