The slide 22 may be said tube, and has a threaded shank 16 secured provided with one or more split rings 34, mounted in an opening I7 in the base by means of a in annular grooves therein for the purpose of renut 18. v siliently holding the slide in fixed position in thel 55 The inner tube section 12 is movable substantube. 110
Thus constructed, the said display stand provides an attractive means for displaying articles of merchandise thereon in store windows and the like, and which may be arranged in different angular positions with relation to the stand by which the manner of displaying the articles may be changed from time to time.
What is claimed is:
1. A display vxture'including .a tubular support composed of telescoping sections, la slide in one of said sections, a tubular arm pivoted .to ysaid slide, a slide in said tubular arm, and a bracket pivoted to said last-mentioned slide, said bracket being movable to retracted position with 'sa-id last-mentioned slide Within the said tubular arm, and said tubular arm being movable with 'the first-mentioned slide to retracted position within the telescoping sections.
2. A display fixture including a tubular support composed of telescoping sections, means maintaining the main body of said sections in spaced relation, a slide in one of said sections, a tubular arm pivoted to said slide for universal movement therewith, a slide slidable in said tubular arm, a bracket on which articles of merchandise vmay be hung pivoted tov said lastvmentioned slide for universal movement there- With, and means for holding said telescoping sec- 'tions in xed extended relation for supporting -fthesaid bracket at diiTerent elevations.
