IMPROVEMENT IN BOOK-MARKERS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 194,305, dated August 21, 1877; application filed July 18, 1877.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, THoMAs P. MARSHALL and S. BROWN. MARSHALL, of Trenton, Mercer county, New Jersey, have invented a Oombined Implement, of which the following is the specification:
The object of our invention is a combined implement, constructed as fully described hereinafter, to serve as a book-mark, page and paragraph register, paper-folder, paper-cutter,
rule and measure, and glove-buttoner.
The implement, as shown in perspective in the drawing, consists of a blade, A, of steel or other metal, of nearlyuniform width, having a sharp edge, w, folded at one end to form a clamping-tongue, b, and formed into a pointer, c, at the opposite end, one side or edge, as, of the blade being graduated, and
