What I claim is 1. In a binder for periodicals, pamphlets and the like, the combination of strips of flexible material secured together at the ends and having a free space between the strips along the middle portion, flexible long straps attached to the ends of the aforesaidflexr ble strips, stiff cover members, each of which is formed of two stifl? sheets,said sheets be ing fastened together at the ends and open at the sides to permit the insertion of the flexible binder strips in the spaces between the respective stifl sheets of the cover members, a short strap aflixed to the inside stiff sheet of each cover member, each short strap having a buckle adaptedto be engaged by the corresponding long strap of the flexible strip, and binderwires engaging around an element of the hinge'portion of the binder, each of said wires being adapted to releasably engage magazines. v

In a binder for periodicals, pamphlets binder element, said/binder element comprising two flexible strips secured together at their ends only, hollow stiff cover members into which the flexible binder element is insertable, the central'portion ofthe flexible binder element forming the hinge portion of the binder, andmeans inserted between the members of the flexible binder element and carried bysaid hinge portion to releasably engage a magazine to hold same in the binder, and straps attached to opposite edges of the flexible binder element for securing same in place within the respective hollow 3. In a binder for periodicals and other publications, the combination of a flexiblebinder element, stifl' cover members each of which is formed oftwo stifl' sheets, said sheets being" fastened together at the ends and open at the sides to provide a space into which the flexible binder element is inserta ble, the central portion ofthe flexible binderelementforming the hinge portion of the binder, means carried by said hinge portion to releasably engage a magazine to hold same in the binder, straps attached to the flexible binder element for securing it in place within the space between the stiii sheets of the respective stifl? cover members, a short strap aflixed to the inside stilt sheet of each cover member, these straps carrying buckles engageable by the straps fastened to the flexible binder element to. releasably secure same within the stifl cover men' bers.
4. In a binder for magazines, pamphlets and other publications, the combination of a flexible binder element, said binder element comprising two flexible stripsv secured together at their ends only, hollow stiff cover members into which the flexible binder eleflexible binder element to releasably secure same within the stifi cover members.

In a binder for magazines, pamphlets and other publications, the combination of a flexible binder element, hollow stiff cover members each composed of two stiff sheets open at the sides and closed'at the ends, and between which the flexible binder element is insertable, the flexible binder element forming the hinge portion of the binder, binder wires each having one portion thereof en gaging around an inner binder element of the hinge portion of the binder. and having the other portion thereof insertable through the magazine to hold same, the said binder wires each having an eye formed at one end and a hook formed at the other end to releasably engage each other.

In a binder for magazines, pamphlets and other publications, the combination of a flexible binder element, stiff cover members each formed of two sheets having a space therebetween to receive a flexible element, said cover members being closed at the ends and open at the sides, the central portion of the aforesaid flexiblebinderelement forming the hinge portion of the'binder, spring binder wires each having one portion thereof engagingaround an inner binder element of the said hinge portion of the binder and having the other portion thereof insertable through the publication to hold same in the binder, the said. binder wires each having an eye formed at one end and a hook formed at the other end to releasably engage each other, the binder wires each also having an angularly bent out portion to permit of greater flexibility of the binder wire and to facilitate grasping same to unhook the hooked end of the wire from the eye at the other end to insert the wire into or to release it from a publication.-
7. In a binder for periodicals, pamphlets and the like, the combination of strips of flexible material secured together at the ends and having a free space between the strips along the middle portion, a flexible strap attached to the end of one of the aforesaid flexible strips, stifi? cover members, one of said cover members being formed of stifi sheets, said sheets being fastened together at the ends and open at the sides to permit insertiOnof the flexible binder strips in the spaces between the respective stifi sheets of the cover member, a short strap aflixed to the inside stiff sheet ,of the cover member, a buckle, on said strap, and binder wires engaging r hinge poi engage magazines,
