This invention relates to metal buttons, and among other objects aims to provide a durable button which may be made cheaply and by a few, simple operations.-

The various elements of the illustrative button are made of raw materials of such form as to require a minimum fabrication or treatment to connect them into button parts. Obviously the invention is notv limited toV the details of the illustrated embodiment hereindisclosed, since these may be variously modified VMoreoveigit is not indispensable that all'features of the invention be used con-- jointly since various features may be advantageously employed in different combinations and sub-combinations.
