The general object of my said invention is the provision of a denture press, simple and sturdy in construction, and susceptible of ready and efcient manipulation to assure the production of accurate results.
To the attainment of the foregoing, the invent-ion consists in the improvement as hereinafter described and definitely claimed.

vand it is open at its upper end and is provided with a bottom 2 below its lower end. l The portion of the boiler 1 below the bottom 2, in the present embodiment of my invention, is
5 provided with apertures 3, for the admission of air to support combustion and for the emisf sion of products of combustion. The said boiler 1 is provided, in its lower end with recesses l designed to receiveupstanding proje'ctions 5 on the base 6, Figures 1, 2, and 3, whereby when the boiler 1 is rested with its lower end on a shelf'? of the base 6, the boiler 1 and the base 6 will be interlocked and turning of the boiler 1 about its axis with respect to the base 6 will be prevented Notwithstanding this, however, it will be manifest, that the boiler 1 may be expeditiously and easily lifted from the base 6 and may as readily be replaced on and interlocked with the base 6. Said base 6, in addition to a body 8, characterized and just described, includes legs 9 and is equipped with an appropriate gas burner 10. i l
Manifestly, within the purview of -my invention, an electric heating element may beV employed in lieu of the gas burner 10 as -anappurtenance of the base 6 and when the electric heating member is employed, the apertures 3 in the lower end of the boiler 1 may be either employed or altogether omitted in the discretion of the manufacturer of the press. The cover for the boiler 1 is designated by 10 and itis preferablyalthough not necessarily, equipped with a safety valve 1 1, a thermometer 12 and a pet cock 13, all. in communication with the interior of the boiler 1. The pet cock 13 is provided, by prefer-ence, in, order that an operator by opening the pet cock 13 may be sure that the interior of the boiler 1 is practically free of steam, before the cover 10 is removed. Y The flask frame of Vmy improvement is' designated by 16, and it is provided in its upper end portion or head 17 with a threaded aperture 18 to receive the pendant threaded portion of astud 19, which is flanged at 20 to bear on the upper side of thecover 1Q and is interiorly threaded at 21V and is exteriorly threaded atits upper end to 'receive an apertured gland 22, in which is a packing an-V nulus 23.
In order to'center and properly position the flask frame 16, the cover 10 is provided withpendant projections 24, Figure 4, designed to cooperate with opposite edges of the head 17 in which edges are seats 25, wherebyv as will be readily apparent the flask frame 16 may be accurately centered and po sitioned for the reception of the pendant threaded portion of the nutv1'9.. -Itwillalso be understood that the co-action between the llask frame 16 andthe projections 24 willfpreclude turning of the flask frame 16 abouty its axis and in that way will prevent shifting in `position of the flask frame whenv the parts are assembledrandV connected as shownl 1nV Figure 2.: Y I' Extending through an-d` engaging the nut -19 is ascrew stem.26,to the lower end-.of which is connected by :apawl and. socket joint. a follower plate 27, '(Figure] 2) At its upper end,.the stem or shaft 26 is provided withra handle 27which'may be of thevform-illustrated or any otheriform compatible with-the purposes of my invention.

and the stem or shaft26 is turned about its axis to impose pressure through the follower plate 27 on the flask 36, the tendency is to move the flash in the direction indicated by the large arrow in Figure 6.
It will be appreciated, however, from Figure 6, that when the action indicated takes place, the convex sides of the flasks, cooperating with the lip 35 of the upright 33 and the concaved sides of the flasks cooperating with the frame bar 34 will absolutely prevent material shifting or movement of the flask in the frame 16, which is a highly important advantage.V It will be noted, however, in this connection, that when the boiler is opened, and the frame and flasks are removed, from the boiler body l, movement ofthe flask in the direction opposite to that indicated by the large arrow in Figure 6 will bring about removal of the flask from the frame 16, and then, as will be readily understood, the flask sections may be expeditiously and easily disconnected for access to the interiors of the flasks.
In practice, not only the boiler l, but all of the other exposed parts of my no-vel press are preferably, although not necessarily nickel-plated` or otherwise embellished in order to enhance the finished appearance of the press as a whole.
I have specifically described the preferred embodiment of my invention, in order to impart a full, clear and exact understanding of said embodiment and all of its details.
I do not desire, however, to be understood, as limiting myselfto the structural details illustrated, my invention being defined by my appended claims, and within the scope of which modifications may be made without departure from my invention.
I claim:
l. In a denture press, and in combination, a flask frame having spaced upright bars, one with an inwardly directed lip extending from one of its upright edges, and a aslr for removable arrangement in said frame, the flask concaved at one side for opposition to and reception of one upright bar of the frame and convex at its opposite side for opposition to and cooperation with the lip. on the other bar of the frame.
2. In a denture press, and in combination, a boiler open at its upper end, an apertured cover for the boiler,'means for detachably securing the cover on the boiler, a nut extending below and above the cover and supported thereby, a threaded stem or shaft extending through and engaging said nut, a follower plate carried by said shaft, aflask frame threaded on said nut and held against extending through and engaging said nut, a
follower plate carried by said shaft, a flask frame threaded on said nut and held against turning about its axis to the cover and having opposite recesses and also having spaced upright bars, one with an inwardly directed lip extending from one of its vertical edges, and flasks for removable arrangement in said frame below said follower plate, the
'flasks being concaved atl one side for opposition to one upright bar of the frame and convex `at the opposite side for opposition to and cooperation with the lip on one bar of the frame, the said holding of the flask frame against turning about its axis relatively to the cover being effected byV pendent projections on the cover co-acting with said opposite recesses in the fiask frame.
