The object of my device is tomake a bucket that is convenient to be used in operation, such as cleanin when it is necessary to have, for instance, ear water and soap water succesjsively. With the conventional bucket, it is only ossible to have either one of the liquids contained in it at a particular time. This means that two buckets are necessary in the simplest cleaning o eration. Since it is not ordinarily practica to have more than one bucket at a time on a ladder, it requires the descent and ascent of the ladder each time that a di'ierent solution is necessary. By the use of my bucket, it will not be necessary to l5 ascend and descend the ladder in the'ordinary cleaning o ration. My deice ma be made of few an simple parts t a a lend t emselves readily to multiple production. With these and other objects in view my invention has relation to certain novel features of construction and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter more l-ly descrlbed, pointed outy in the claim and illustrated in the drawing, in which Fig. 1 is a front elevation of one of the compartments used in my bucket.
Fig. 2 is a plan view ,of my completed bucket.
Fig. 3 is a side elevation of my completed :o bucket.
Fig. 4 is a sectional plan view on the line 4-4 of Fig. 3.
Fig. 5 is a franental elevation showing the jointure of the ucket handle tothe bucket com artments.
Fig. 6 shows a modified form of m construction, which is the conventional ucket with a radial partition therein.
4ments are secured together by hoops. Any
conventional method, such as riveting, solddering, welting or nailing may be used. As a modified form, as shown in Fig. 6, I provide a conventional bucket having the radial partition 13 formed therein, which partition 1n effect divides the bucket into two compart- .5 ments. A plurality of such artitions may be used for dividing the buc et into a plurality of compartments.
What I claim is- A bucket comprising compartments secured together by hoops, perforated ears formed on each compartment, a handle having bifurcated ends with rojections formed on each bifurcated end or engagement in the erforated ears, the bifurcated ends of u said andle being in engagement with the perforated ears on adjacent compartments.
In testimony whereof I aiix my signature.
