An incandescent lamp comprising, a' socket plug, a lead-in wire supporting stem projectmg fromthe plug, and a vacuum-type globe carried by the stem, said globe includmg an outer wall having a neck portion extending longitudinally of the stem in encircling relation thereto and'snugly engaging the stem and further havin a main body portion merging into the nec portion, said globe further including an inner wall havmg a neck portion fused with the neck portion of the outer wall and extending in parallel spaced relation thereto, said inner wall further having a main body portion merging into the neck portion thereof and extending in parallel spaced relation to the main body portion of the outer wall.
