In my co-pendii ing application, Serial Number 98,963, filed April 1, 1926, I have disclosed a roll screen and roll screen edge supporting construction comprising members projecting from the window frame or wall adjacent the window.
The present construction is a modified form by means of which the edges of the screen are supported within-the contour of the adjacent frame or wall'structure.
K It is an object of the present invention to 15 provide new and improved construction for supporting the edges of roll screens, and more particularly to such a construction adapted to be located substantially within I have illustrated a preferred embodiment V of my invention in the accompanying draw- 7 ings', in which V Figure 1 is a horizontal section through one side of a window with the invention applied thereto; i Figure 2 is an enlarged fragmentary section showing a portion of Figure 1';"and 40 Figure 3 is a vertical section taken online el4 of Figure 2.
Referring first to Fi 'ure 1, the metallic window frame member 68 is secured in place in the masonry surrounding the window, and a-nv desired form of window may be provided. The edge of the screen 34, as shown in Figure 2, is provided with members 46 which may be'staples or similar elements secured to the edge of the screen fabric. These members maintain the edges of the g the lower position.
