My invention relates to improvements in devices for flushing drain pipes, and one object of my invention is the provision of a device which can be instantly applied to the faucet of a sink, bath tub, or like structure and which will thoroughly and quickly by the force of the water clean the drain pipe and remove any obstruction therefrom.

Another object of my invention is the provision of a device which can be uickly attached to a threaded or smooth taucet and which will utilize the full force of the water to remove any accumulation or stoppage in the drain pipe.

Another and most important object of my invention is the provision of a device of the character and for the purposes stated which will prove eflicient and practical in use and which can be made at such a small price as so to render the device an absolute necessity in s with a strainer the household.

With these objects in view my invention consists of a drain pipe flushing device embodying novel features of construction and arrangement of parts, substantially as described and claimed, and as shown in the accompanying drawings, in which:

Figure 1 represents a side elevation of my complete device shown in connection with a faucet and drain pipe to demonstrate the manner of using my device.

Figure 2 represents a sectional view of the nozzle used in this form of my device.

Figure 3 represents a view in side elevar tion of a modified form of my invention such as used in flushing a drain pipe having a strainer, the strainer and cup of my device being shown in section, and

Figure 4 represents a sectional view of the novel faucet coupling of my invention.

My invention is particularly adapted for use in connection with a faucet 1, for flushing the drain pipe 2, of a sink 3, which may be of the open type 4, or may be provided 5, the device 0 crating in connection with either constructlon.

The invention according to my improvements is of the most simple and inexpensive construction and as shown in Figures 1 and 2, consists of the faucet coupling sleeve 6,
