Positioned against the part 4 of the bottom edges of theside walls. 1, 2, abutting the shoulder 3 and projecting a substantial distance from the lower corners of walls 1, 2 is a flat, rectangular foot piece 11 having its lower face flush with the part 5 of the bottom edges of the walls 1,2. The foot piece is disposed transversely of the unit and has its endedges flush'with the outer side faces of walls 1,-2. Mounted on the upper face of the foot piece 11 is a Vertically disposed nosing 12-of a length corresponding to the length of-thefoot piece 11. The nosing 12 is arrangeda substantial distance forward ofthe forward lower corners of the walls 1, 2. The nosing 12 ,has its ends flush with the ends of foot piece ll and its forward face flush with the forward side edge of foot piece 11. In vertical section the nosing 12 is of rectangular contour. The thickness of the-nosing 12 is materially less than the width of the foot piece 11. The foot piece 11 is secured to the side walls 1, 2 and the nosing 12 is secured upon the foot piece 11.

The Wall 16 inclines throughout in an upward direction from'its front to its forward edger 1 l Arranged in abutting relation with respect to the rearwardly projecting portion 17 of top wall 16 is a narrow, cross strip 18 which is secured to the part 10 of the rear edges of the walls 1,2 and has itsends flush with the outer sidev faces of such walls.
The strip, 18 acts as a support for the por tion 17 of .wall 16 and also as a coupler and brace for the walls 1, 2. Arranged below and'in spaced relation to the strip 17,

Secured between and projecting rearwardly from-the walls 1,. 2, inproximity to and below the strip 19 is a shelf 20of rectangular contourand formedof a reduced inner portion 21 having the ends thereof abutting theinner faces of the walls 1, 2 as well as being'suitably secured therewith. The outer portion of the shelf 20 andwhich projects rearwardly from the walls 1, 2, is
indicated at 22 and such portion 22 abuts against the part 10-0f the rear edges of the walls 1, 2 and has-its ends flush with the outer side faces of saiduwalls l, 2. The shelf20 extends at an upward inclination wall 13 is a pair of retaining strips 25, 26,

The strips 25, 26 extend from the foot piece 11;to the upper end of the wall 13 and are positioned on the side marginal portions of the outer 11 throughout fromv its inner side edge to its face of wall :13. the upper ends of the strips 25, 26 respectively. The rear ends of. the strips 27, 28 are flush with the rear edge of the wall 16. The strips 27, 28 are positioned on the side marginal portions of the upper face of the wall 16. V
Mounted upon the shelf 20 and positioned against the strips 18, 19 and extending a substantial distance above the top wall 16 is a lattice bracket 29.
Then a plurality of units are arranged in sidewise abutting relation the shelves 20- abut to form what may be termed a contina uous shelf for display purposes. The shelf 20of each unit also provides a shelf for display purposes. The walls 13,-16constitute a pair of surfaces or floors for display purposes disposed at an angle with respect to each other. The rear of the unit is open for receiving stock of goods displayed upon the front, top and rear of the unit. The rear of the unit is left openif possible for the display ofthe goods placed therein from the inside of the store. The unit can vbe constructed of any suitable material. The length, width and height of the unit can be as desired, The angular disposition of the walls 13, 16 relatively to each other can be as desired.
What I claim is I a 1. A combined display and storage unit including a pair of side walls having, in-- clined front and inclined top'edges,a-front wall disposed at an inclination corresponding to the inclination of said front edges, a top wall disposed at an inclination corresponding to the inclinationof said top edges, said front and top wallsbeing secured to said side walls, said front edges inclining rearwardly from the bottom to the top thereof, said top edges inclining upwardly from the forward to the rear edges thereof,
a foot piece secured to and projecting from the bottom of said sidewalls at the forward ends of said walls, a nosingsecured upon secured to said side walls and positioned against the inner face of said front wall,
a pair of spaced retaining strips secured to the outer face of saidfront wall, and a pair of spaced retaining strips secured upon the upper face of said top wall.
2. A combined display and storage unit. including a pair of side walls having inclined front and inclined top edges, a front wall disposed at an inclination corresponding to the inclination of said front edges, a top wall disposed at an inclination corresponding to the inclination of said top ing rearwardly therefrom.

A combined display and storage unit including a pair of side walls having inclined front and inclined top edges, a front wall disposed at an inclination corresponding to the inclination of said front edges, a top wall disposed at an inclination corresponding to the inclination of said top edges, said front and top walls being secured to said side walls, said front edges inclining rearwardly from the bottom to the top thereof, said top edges inclining upwardly from the forward to the rear edges thereof, a foot piece secured to and projecting from the bottom of said side walls at the forward ends of said walls, a nosing secured upon said foot piece and spacedwardly from said side walls, said shelf extending at an upward inclination throughout from its inner to its outer edge.
