The present invention relates to an improved pocket comb of the type in which metal teeth insulated from one another are in circuit with an electric battery carried in "I the handle, the circuit being completed through the scalpor skin of the user.

According to the present invention, sets of teeth having a sinuous shape are mounted on bars moulded into a back which also serves as a handle of a phenol condensation product.

The invention is more particularly described with reference to the accompanying drawings in which Figure 1 is a sectional. end view on the line AA of Figure 4 of a comb according to the present invention.

I declare that what I claim is 1. A comb comprising in combination a comb bars each having groups of prongs mounted thereon, and moulded into said insulating material, a detachable battery within said body, compression springs engaging contacts at each end of said battery, extension hollow body of insulated material, a pair of parts on the end of each spring each adapted to engage one end of one bar.

A comb comprising in combination a hollow body of insulated material, a pair of comb bars each having groups of prongs mounted thereon, and moulded into said insulating material, a detachable battery within said body, compression springs engaging contacts at each end of said battery, extension parts on the end of each sprin each adapted 60 to engage one end of rl' locking caps closing each end of said hollow body.
