A further object of the invention is to provide a scaffold bracket that maybe folded when not in use.

By referring to Figure 3, it Will be seen that there has been provided a notch 30 which is formed on the part 15 in such a position that when the part 15 is folded up against the part 16 the lug 26 functions Within the notch 30.
By referring to Figure 2, it Will be seen that at a point Where the securing hook passes through the opening 3, it is slightly thicker in order to provide against possibility of bending or breaking at this point- When under strain.
What I claim is 1. In a collapsible scaffold bracket a vertical angle iron having a curved upper portion, a horizontal angle iron having its inner endpivoted to said vertical angle iron and an extension at its outer end forming a securing hook, a two-part locking brace member, a pin pivotally securing the inner ends of said brace member parts, one of said brace member parts having a slot slidably engaged by said pin, and aL lug adjacent the inner end of the other brace member part, the first named brace member' part having a' bifurcated end adapted to engage the lug to hold the brace member parts in locked" position When the device is opened in position for use. In a device of the class described, a vertical member having a curved upper end, a horizontal member pivoted to said curved end, a securing hook member formed as an extension of said horizontal member for the purpose of engaging a studding or upright of a building, a two-part lock brace member pivoted to the outer end of said horizontal member and to the lower-end of said vertical member, a pin pivotally connecting the parts of said brace member, one of said parts having a slot, a flange and a bifurcated end and the other part having a lug to engage in said bifurcated end, said pin, slot, flange, lug and bifurcated end cooperating tolock the brace parts in an extended and aligned position. f
