IMPROVEMENT IN PUMP-GOVERNORS.

Myinvention relates to a governor for pumping-engine, as described in a separate application for patent; and it consists in the construction and arrangement of the devices connectwhat I claim as new, and desire to secure by ing the weighted beam with the water-pipes, as will be hereinafter more fully set forth.
In the annexed drawing,-Figure 1 is a side elevation of the governor embodying my invention. Fig. thereof.

In a pump-governor, operated by the pressure of water in the mains, the pipe K, stuffing-box J, and rod I, in combination with the pivoted beam G connected with the valve of the pumping-engine, and provided with the self-acting weight H, all substantially as and for the purposes herein set forth.
