IMPROVEMENT IN PLUMBERS GRA PPLES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 179,533, dated July 4, 1876; application filed June 6, 1876.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, WILLIAM H. DEWAR, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and Improved Plumbers Grapple, of which the following is a specification:

Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The combination of jaw A, attached to rod B, having oflset at U, and provided with spur c, movable jaw D, having teeth d, pivoted at a, and having a short arm, E, and the pivoted rod 1), the rod and pipe being held by rings 0, all as shown and described.
