Thel usefulness of this idea might be illustrated as follows: Suppose the main boiler Iis operating at 400 pound working pressure delivering'itssteam toa turbine and that boiler auxiliaries such as pumps, etc., are taking their steam from different stages bled from the turbine, say 150 pound pressure. A boiler ,equipped with niy `anxiliaryboilers would use one or more of the auxiliary units at 150 vpounds pressurefor operating the auxiliaries and other units could be used asfeedwater f heaters or economizers. Also it wouldbepossible to use steam from the auxiliary boilers at varying pressurefor processworlr instead ofbleeding turbines 'or using exhaust steam taking steam from the vWhen it isfdesirous to use my invention as an auxiliary boiler'for Vrunning apump, 'a sinallengine, etc., water is fed to thelower v drum 20 by ,a water supply pipe 24. The cirstruction is such that after the pipe connecculatio'n is through thetubes 22th the drum `2il`thence down the pipe' 23 to the drum 20.
