From the above description and disclosure of the drawings, it will beobvious that have provided an attachment that protects the upper end of the chimney from the accumulation of deposits, such as creosote or other foreign matters, so as to promote the efficiency thereof, and the chimney is properly insulated where the attachment'is arranged therein, to add to the efiiciency'of the drafts, as it will be apparent that the chimney will be retained in-a w'arm condition for a maximumperiod o'f'time due to the dead air spaces.
