Referring to the drawings, 10 denotes a wrist watch band consisting of two lengths of cord 11, which may be of either fabric or metal. Each length of the cord 11 is folded 5 over to form a loop 12 at one end to receive the link 13 adaptedto be mounted on a pin or bar at the end of the watch-casing. The tongue 35 is illustratively exemplified in Figures 3, 4L and 8 and comprises a strip of metal bent upon itself at one end to form a bearing 36 to embrace the pin 34, the opposite or free end being bent to form a hook 37 adapted to snap over the upturned hook end 31. A small projection 38 is mounted on the upper portion of the hook 37to enable the wearer to disengage the two hooks from each other.

After the two sections of the terminal snap are attached to the ends of the cords 11, coupling thereof is effected by bringing the sections together so that'the hook 31 is engaged under the cross bar at the end of the eye 19.

The other hook or tongue 35 is then brought down and sprung over the hook 31. This arrangement provides a secure coupling as well as a flexible joint for a wrist band and because of the extreme simplicity of the parts, the entire terminal snap is of a relatively small size, a point which is highly desirable in devices of this'character. i

Having now described my invention; what I claim and desire to secure-by Letters Patent is: r 7 i A terminal snap for a wrist watch band comprising" separate sections of'cord to be separably coupled together, and comprising two sections; each section thereof being provided with a longitudinally fluted upper wall to partly embrace an end of each cord, a clamping jaw mounted in each section for engaging the sections to the cords, the-sides of the sections being projected forwardly to provide parallel ears, one section having a projecting tongue disposed between its ears and providedwith an eye in the end thereof, the other section having a tongue disposed between its ears and turned upwardly at the end to form a hook to engage the eye from und'erneath,'a pintle pin supported between the ears of the second section, and a pivoted tongue mounted on the pinin the second section and provided with a downwardly turned hook end to spring over the first hook to. hold the eye loosely between the two tongues.
