SKATE (Filed March 25, 1930 Wish to be limited to the eXaot details of oonstruction herein set forth but desire to avail myself of such variations and modifications as come Within the scope of the appended claims.
Having thus described my invention, claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States of America l. A skate Comprising a four runner blade, each runner angularly disposed to the others and having transverse openings therein, a frame comprising sole and heel plate brackets formed with pr-essed out portions having transverse openings therein arranged to register with the transverse openings in any one of said runners, and clamping elements er;- tending,` through said transverse openings.

In combination with a shoe, skate secured thereto, consisting of a four runner blade, eac-h runner angularly disposed to the others, a heel plate and a toe plate each torining two clamping portions, oneJ of said runners housed between the clamping portions of said toe and heel plate, transversely disposed holding,- bolts extending through said runner and clamping portions, and squar nuts on the ends thereof, fiat sid-e of said nuts held in fixed position by the surface of one of the runners.

A skate consisting of a four runner blade each runner angularly disposed to theothers, a heel plate and a toe plate, each forming two rclarnging,` portions, one of said runners housed between the clamping portions of said toe and heel plate, transversely disposed holding bolts extending" through said runner and clamping` portions, and square nuts on the ends thereof, a flat side ot said nuts held in fixed position by the surface of one of the runners.
