A pulverizer comprising a rotatable housing, a plurality of segmental rollers loosely mounted within the housing adapted between said segmental I to coact with the housing to crush a material fed thereto, and ring members loosely mounted within said housing between said segmental rollers and having pockets therein, to permit the material within the housing to be redistributed for repeated pulverization by said segmental rollers.

The combination with a rotatable pulverizing housing, of, passaged segmental rollers looselymounted therein to coact with the housing by the action of gravity and the rotation of the housing to crush a material by attrition, said rollers having the passages arranged to cause discharge of material through the fiat coacting surfaces of said rollers.

15. The combination with a rotatable pulverizing housing, of pulverizing rollers and material distributing rings loosely mounted within said housing to distribute the material into the field of operation of said rollers.
16. The combination with a rotatable pulverizing housing, of pulverizing members loosely mounted therein, and material distributing members loosely mounted within said housing in coacting relation with said pulverizing members.
17. The combination with a rotatable pulverizing housing and the pulverizing members thereof, of material distributing rings loosely mounted within said housing.

The combination with a rotatable pulverizing housing and the pulverizing members thereof, or" material distributing members loosely mounted within said housing and having pockets therein with the outlets of said pockets staggered with respect to one another to permit material carried by said distributing members to be distributed from opposite sides thereof.
