This invention relates to a drier apparatus and hasrelation more particularly to an apparatus of this kind especially designed and adapted for use in a beauty parlor or the like for the drying of hair.
1t is an object of the invention to provide a device of this kind wherein is adapted to be created two blasts of air'of different temperatures together with means for regulating the discharge of one of such vblasts independently of the other.
The invention consists in the details of construction and in the combination and ar- ,rangement of the several parts of my improved drier apparatus whereby certain important advantagesare attained and the device rendered simpler, less expensive and otherwise more convenient and advantav geous for use, as will be hereinafter more flly set forth.
The novei features of my invention will hereinafter be definitely claimed.

. As disclosed in the accompanyingdrawing, 1 denotes an elongated casing of desired dimensions and configuration adapted to be supported in any desired manner in workingposition with the walls of said casing 1 being preferably made of metal and each of 1929. Serial No. 367,052.

In the present embodiment of my invention, the casing 1 has in communication therewith through the bottom wall thereof three 65 outlet pipes 3 spaced lengthwise of thecasing 1 and with a fourth outlet pipe 4in communication with the casing 1 through an end wall thereof. Each of these outlet pipes 3 and 4 is adapted to have coupled thereto a carryof pipe 5 preferably of flexible metal. This iexible pipe 5 vis adapted to discharge as desired.
Extending lengthwise through the casing 1 is a pipe' or conduit 6 preferabl ized metal having outlet pipes 7 extending within the outlet pipe 3, said pipes 7 terminating inwardly ofthe pipes `3 and of a `less diameter. This pipe or conduit 6 also has, an loutlet pipe 8 extending within the outlet pipe 70 4 but terminating inwardly thereof and of less diameter. Each of the outlet pipes 7 and 8 has mounted therein a regulating valve or damper 9 having an operating stem 10 extending exteriorl)7 of the adjacent or associ- 75 ated outlet pipe 3' or 4. Bfy\proper manipulation of each of the valves 9 the discharge of heated air through the coacting discharge pipe 7 or 8 may be readily regulated or controlled as desired. f y 30 In communication with the end portion of the casing 1 remote from the outlet pipe 4 is an inlet pipe 11`in suitable communication with the discharge nozzle 12 of afan casing 14'. The pipe 6 is extended, as at,y 15, 85 through lthe same end wall of the .casing 1 and is in 'proper`l communication with the nozzle 16 of a second fancasing 17. The fan casings 14 and 17 are arranged side by side 90 and` have disposed therethrough a common shaft 18 herein disclosed as driven by an elecl tric motor 19. The shaft 18 within each of the casings 14 and 17 has radiating therefrom" fan blades 20`so that when the shaft 18 is in 95 rotation the desired blasts ofair will be di-v rected yinto the casing 1 and also through the pipe 6. The casing 14 has a side wall or face in communication with the atmosphere While a 100 of galvan- Y side wall or face' of the casing 17 is'in conmunication with an intake box 21. This box 21, through the medium of a suitable conduit 22, is in communication through the top with a hood H. This hood H is of such'configuration and dimensions; as to be readily applied over a gas heater whereby effective means 'are provided to heat the air drawn into the casing 17 and discharged through the pipe 6.
