A clothes line support ofthe typeconcerned comprising a supporting arm, a clothes line pulley rotatably mounted upon y said arm to receive a clothes line thereabout providing upper and lower leads for saidk clothes line, a bracket adapted to be connected with a window frame, means for retaining and guiding the upper lead of the clothes line, a pivot pin by which the arm is lpivotall ly connected with the bracket to swing between operative and inoperative positions, the bracket and arm having (3o-operative conv vexed and conoaved surfaces adapted to interengage with each other constituting A means tending to deline said positions of the arm and a hook provided upon said. arm re-l moved from the pivot detachably engageable by the lower lead of the line for thereby urging the arm to one of its positions.
