The invention relates to ornamental frames for calendarsand other articles and has for its object the provision of a frame provided with a pocket on its rear side having the mouth of the pocket at the lower end of the frame, the poo :et being provided with an opening in the upper portion thereof to expose a hanging device securedto the calendar or other article, so that the calendar and frame may be hung by the hanging device secured to the calendar and the calendar will support the frame.
The invention will be described in detail hereinafter and will be found illustrated in the accompanying drawings in which Figure 1 is a front view in elevation of the improved frame showing the calendar displayed therein,

In the drawings similar reference charactors are used to designate corresponding parts in all of the views.
In the drawings the frame member is designated 1 and is provided with an opening 2 for display of a calendar or other article 3. Secured to the rear side of the frame 1 is a sheet of material 4:, said sheet of material being secured in any suitable manner as shown at 5 on the upper bar 6 of the frame and secured as shown at 7 to the end bars 8, the lower edge of the material 1 being left unsecured and forming the opening to the pocket 9 to receive a calendar or other article. 10 indicates an opening adjacent to the secured upper edge 5 in the sheet of material 4 to expose a hanger 11 secured to the calendar or other article 3 for convenience in hanging the frame and calendar, or other article. 12 indicates a sheet of transparent material that maybe secured on the rear side sectional view.

In use it will be apparent that the frame may be used for advertising purposes and when used for hanging calendars may be used from year to year by removing an obsolete calendar at the end of the year and replacing it with a calendar for the current year, it
being apparent also that the calendar may be readily removed for the purpose of tearing off the sheet for expose the sheet for the the expired month to current month.
What is claimed is 1. A frame for calendars and the like, comprising a frame member ing therein, a sheet of material secured to having a sight openthe back of said member at some of the edges thereof and providing, with the frame member, a pocket to hold an-article for display through said opening, and the sheet of ma terial being provided with an aperture adaptarticle.
