My invention relates to improvements in handbags and more particularly has reference to and is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in its application to a ladys handbag such as is usually used for carrying the purse and other small articles of requirement. One of the principal objects of the invention is to provide a convenient, durable and secure locking and fastening means in combination with the frame of the bag, which is preferably made of celluloid or other suitable material.
