This invention relates to improvements in strop holders. The principal object of this invention is to provide a strop holder wherein the strop is prevented from rotating in one direction only. 7

A further object is to produce a device of the character which may be attached to any ordinary strop now upon the market without altering the construction of the same A further object is toproduce a device which is economical to manufacture one which is strong and at the same time neat in appearance.

A still further object is to produce a holder which may be attached to either the wall or underside of a chair, as for instance, a barbers chair. 7 Other objects and advantages will be ap parent during the course of the'following description. v y Y In the accompanying drawing forming a part of this specification and in which like numerals are employed to designate like parts 2 throughout the same,

Q V 1 V At the present time a strop is'usually provided with a swivel at one end thereof which swivelpermit's the strop to accommodate it- 1 self to the angle to which therazor being 7 stropped, is held. It oftenioccursthat the razor will slip off the strop and upon the. return movement of the hand nto bring the razor back to the strop, the razor will en gage the strop in such a manner as to cause it to turn and consequentlybecut upon the next stroke. Many a strop has been ruined in this manner.
