An object of my invention is to provide a l eed wheel for pneumatic concrete machines ,in which an accurate amount of material is positively fed into thepressure line each time a space in the feed wheel registers with the outlet.
Another object is to provide a feed wheel in which material can settle and become packed and in which moisture is not deposited in the teeth of the wheel.
- A further object is to provide a feed whee which does not require frequent cleaning or adj ustm ent,
A still further object is to provide a feed wheel in which a steady, even flow of material is emitted into the feed line.
Other objects, advantages, and features of invention may appear from the accompanying drawing, the subjoined, detailed descrip tion, and the appended claims.

In the form of my invention shown in Figure 2, ports 14 are provided in the wheel 9 between adjacent fingers 10, and an annular ring 15 is provided within the wheel 9 and back of the fingers 10. Having described my invention, I claim:
1. In a pneumatic concrete machine, a hollow feed wheel, a plurality of fingers extending from said wheel, an outlet pipe in the machine with which said fingers are adapted to register, said wheel having openings therein between adjacent pairs of fingers, and means to conduct air under pressure into said feed wheel and back of said fingers, whereby material between said fingers is ejected through the outlet pipe.
2. In a pneumatic concrete machine comprising a housing, a hollow conical teed wneel in said housing, a plurality of fingers extending from the periphery of the feed wheel, means to rotate the. feed wheel, ribs 011 the outer surface of the feed wheel, an outlet pipe extending from the housing, said fingers being adapted to aliue with the outlet ipe. said teed wheel having openings therein communicating with the space between adjacent fingers, and means to conduct air under pressure under the feed wheel back of said openings to eject the material between the fingers through the outl t pipe.
3.111 a pneumatic concrete machine comprising a housing, a conical teed wheel in said housing, a plurality of fingers extending from the periphery or" the feed wheel, means to rotate the feed wheel, an outlet pipe extending from the housing, said fingers being adapted to aline with the outlet pipe, said teed wheel having openings therein communicating with the space between adjacent fingers, and means to conduct air under pressure back of said openings to eject the material between the fingers, through the outlet pipe, and a stop plate above the fingers adjacent the outlet pipe, and ribs on the surface of the feed wheel.
4. In a pneumatic concrete machine including a housing, a conical teed wheel mounted within the housing, means to rotate said feed wheel, fingers extending radially from the periphery of the feed wheel, an outlet pipe in the housing with which said fingers are adapted to aline, said feed wheel having ports therein communicating with the space be tween adjacent pairs of fingers, said housing having an air chamber therein below the feed wheel, and a port extending from said chamher under the feed wheel, whereby air under pressure is expelled through the ports and out of the out-let pipe to eject the material between the fingers.
5. In a pneumatic concrete machine including a housing, an outlet pipe extending therefrom, a hollow conical teed wheel in the housing, means to rotate said feed wheel, fingers extending from the periphery of the feed wheel, downwardly inclined ports in the feed wheel communicating with the space between adjacent pairs of fingers, and means to conduct air under pressure under the feed wheel whereby air is passed through the inclined ports to eject the material out of the outlet pipe between the adjacent pairs of fingers.

In a pneumatic concrete machine including a housing, an outlet pipe extending therefrom, a hollow conical feed wheel in the housing, means to rotate said feed wheel, fingers extending from the periphery of the {feed 7 wheel, downwardly inclined ports in the feed wheel communicating with the space between adjacent pairs of fingers, said housing having an air chamber formed therein, an air pressure pipe leading to the chamber, and a nozzle extending from said chamber, said nozzle being in alinement with the outlet pipe and adapted to direct air through the inclined ports to eject the material from the outlet pipe.
7. In a pneumatic concrete machine including a housing, an outlet pipe extending therefrom, a hollow conical feed wheel in the housing,means to rotate said feed wheel, fingers eX- tending from the periphery of the feed wheel, downwardly inclined ports in the feed wheel communicating with the space between adjacent pairs of fingers, and means to conduct air under pressure under the feed wheel whereby air is passed through the inclined ports to eject the material out of the outlet pipe between the adjacent pairs of fingers, and stop as above the fingers adjacent the outlet pipe to prevent the passage of material between the fingers as the material is being ejected. In a pneumatic concrete machine including a homing, an outlet pipe extending therefrom, a hollow conical feed wheel in the housing, means to rotate said feed wheel, fingers extending from the periphery of the feed wheel, downwardly inclined ports in the feed wheel communicating with the space between adjacent pairs of fingers, and means to conductair under pressure under the feed wheel whereby air is passed through the inclined ports to eject the material out of the outlet pipe between the adjacentpairs of fingers, and stop means above the fingers adjacent the outlet pipe to preventthe passage of material between the fingers as the material is being ejected, and ribs formed on the upper surface of the feed wheel.
9. In a pneumatic concrete machine including a housing, an outlet pipe extending therefrom, a hollow conical feed wheel in the housing, means to rotate said feed wheel, fingers extending from the periphery of the feed wheel, downwardly inclined ports in the feed wheel communicating with the space between adjacent pairs of fingers, said housing having an air chamber formed therein, an air pressure pipe leading to the chamber, and a nozzle extending from said chamber, said nozzle being in alinement with the outlet pipe and adapted to direct air through the inclined ports to eject the material from the outlet pipe, and stop means above the fingers adjacent the outlet pipe to prevent the passage of material between the fingers as the material is being ejected, and ribs formed on the upper surface of the feed wheel.
