The remedy comprises South Carolina yellow pine tar, creosote, and carbon disulphide. The ingredients in the following quantities and manner of compounding are as follows South Carolina yellow pine tar, four drums; creosote (beechwood), one ounce; and carbon disulphide one pound.
I take the tar and dissolve therein the cre osote and after this has become thoroughly mixed 1 then add the carbon disulphide until it is thoroughly mixed with the first two ingredients. v
The remedy is immediately bottled and sealed and when used the patient merely removes the seal and inhales the fumes that arise from the ingredients.
I would distinctly have it understood that Serial No. 202,464.
the remedy is not to be taken internally and I have found by experience that immediate and pern'iunent relief may be obtained and expected from those suffering from bronchial troubles and allied maladies, and that there are absolutely no after effects from usinp my remedy.
What I claim is 1. A remedy for the purpose specified comprising a compound of yellow pine tar four drams, creosote one ounce and carbon disulphide one-half pound, compounded in substantially the proportions stated.
2. A remedy for the purpose specified comprising South Carolina yellow pine tar four drems in which creosote (beechwood) one ounce has been dissolved and carbon disulphide one-half pound has been thoroughly mixed, and compounded in substantially the proportions stated.
