The principal. object of the present invention is to provide a comfort-able, attractive and convenient union suit for men.
The invention will be claimed at the end hereof but will be first described in connection with the embodiment of it chosen for illustration in the accompanying drawing forming'part hereof and in which Figure 1 is a front view of a union suit embodying features ofthe invention.

In the drawing the tubular body portion 1 flares outwardly toward each end as at 2 and 3, and toward the neck end the body portion is reduced in width providing arm-holes 4.. At the neck opening the back 5 is longer or extends further outward than the front 6. One of the shoulder straps at the rear of the garment is provided with an extension 7 fitted with buttons or the like 8 which is a matter of convenience in puttin on and taking off the garment. Toward time leg end of the body portion there is a side'opening 9 having buttons 10. The front portion 11 and the back portion 12.0f'the body are inwardly notched at the crotch, the back portion more deeply than the front portion. There is a triangular gore 13 inserted in the notch of y the back portion.
There is a three-piece-triangular gore in-' serted in. the front notch and it is shorter than the gore in the back notch. The upper parts 14 and 15 of the three-part gore are overlapped to provide an opening. The
lower edges of said gores are outwardly curved as at 16 and united to provide a pocket of considerable Width.
I claim:
1. A union suit for men comprising a tubular body portion flaring outwardly toward each end and toward the neck end of reduced width and providing arm-holes and toward the leg end having a side opening, the front and back portions of the body being inwardly notched at the crotch, the back'portion more deeply than the front portion, a triangular gore insert in the notch of the back portion, and a three piece triangular gore insert in the front notch and shorter than the gore in the back notch said three piece triangular gore comprising a lower part and a pair of upper parts, the upper parts of the three piece gore overlapped to provide an opening andthe lower edges of said gores being outwardly curved and united to provide a pocket.
2. A union suit for men comprising a tubu- 'lar body of which the front and back portions are inwardly notched at the crotch portion, the back portion more deeply than the front portion, atriangular gore insert in the notch of the back portion, and a three piece triangular gore insert in the front notch and shorter than the gore in the back notch said three piece triangular gore comprising a lower part and a pair of upper parts, the up r parts of the last named gore overlappe to provide an opening the lower edges of said -gores being outwardly curved and united.-
