IMPROVEMENT IN COMPOSITIONS FOR SOAP.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 169,967, dated November 16, 1875; application filed July 12, 1875. I
gallons; spirits of ammonia, one ounce; ether,
one ounce; oil sassafras, one ounce; and, in some cases, one ounce of'glycerine, the whole being stirred until cool, for a batch of fifty pounds of soap, or in the same proportions for larger or smaller quantities.
This compound makes an excellent article both for laundry and toilet, and is Very cheap.

Having thus described my invention, 1 claim as new and'desire to secure by LetLersP-atent-- I The compound of Kirks double extract, Colgates soda-soap, sal-soda, water-spirits of ammonia, ether, and oil of Sassafras, substantially in the proportions and manner herein described.
