Serial lilo 'lltialiil This invention relates to certain novel improvements in soap dishes and more par ticularly to a novel support for a soap dish proper and has for its principal object the provision of an improved construction of this character which will be highly eficient in use and economical in manufacture,

Among the several objects of the invention is 3 revision of an improved construction of this character whereby a soap dish may be expeditiously attached and detached from a stationary support thereby enabling the user to attach the soap dish to the walls of a bath invention consists in the combination and arrangement of parts to be hereinafter described and claimed.

The invention will be best understood by re ereoce to the accompanying drawings .illus ting the preterred form of construclion and in which:

To accomplish the various objects or" the invention i illustrate in the drawings a simple and inexpensive combination ot elements for supporting and attaching a soap dish to a stationary support.

I In the drawing a soap dish is indicated at 10 and is preferably though not necessarily of a wire mesh construction including a rim wire member 11 and intersecting wire members 12. This soap dish 10 may beformed of sheet metal or other analogous material as it will be hereinafter understood that my improved manner of attaching the soap dish to a stationarysupport may be associated with any approved style soap dish.

As shown in Figs. 1 and 2 the rear portion 13 or the rim wire 11 has associated therewith connecting members 14 defining threaded sockets 15 adapted for threaded engagement with the threaded shanks 16 of screwmembers 17. These screw members 1'? define head portions 18 which are embedded or molded in attaching or suction elements 19 preterably formed of rubber or other resilientmaterial. These connecting members 14: are disposed in spaced relation with respect to each other at opposite ends of the rear portion 13 of the rim wire 11 and are preterably though not necessarily, connected to this rear portion through the medium of pin mem bers 20.

The suction elements 19 cooperate with bracing construction 21 for rigidly and ole-- tachably connecting the soap dish to the eta tionary support 22.

While l have illustrated and described the preferred form of construction for carrying my invention into edect, this is capable of variation and modification without departing from the spirit of the invention ll, therefore, do not wish to be limited to the precise details of construction set forth, but desire to avail myself of such variations and modifications as come within the scope of the appended claim.
