The end portion 23 of this bracket-member has an outwardl -pressed boss 27 with a squared slot 28 at t e center thereof which slot extends outwardly through the boss to one edge 29 of the bracket-member so as to form a socket for the squared end 30 of the roller shaft. The back-turned end 26 of this same bracket member also has a boss 31 and this latter boss is provided with a sqluared slot 32 which opensat the opposite e ge 33 of the bracket-member. a
It will thus be understood that the two slots 28 and 31 open at opposite edges of the bracket-mem er and that when the end 26 is folded at the side of the end 23 these two slots will be located in the same vertical plane so that if the bracket-member should be reversed in the guide-member one or the'other of the squared sockets 28 or 32 may be utilized to engage the squared end of the roller shaft.
This capability of reversal of the bracketmember in the guide-member materially increases the range of adjustment and enables a very wide shade or a narrow shade to be used without disturbing the fixed guide-memher.
For the purpose of ri 'dity and stifiness, I provide the bracket en s 23-26 with a cen tral stiffening rib 34.
The bracket-member 21, has the same form has the same arrangement of bottom recesses 24 andoutward pro1ections 25,-the only difference' being that s in the outwardly-extend ing arm 35 said end has a complete circular boss 36 with a central perforation 37 to receive the pin ,38on the end of the roller.
Obviously, this bracket-member f 21 may also be reversed end for end in the guide member to give a greater ran e of ad1ustment.

The operation is believed to be obvious without further explanation thereof. 7
Having described my invention, I claim z-- 1. In a window-she tion with a guide-member having out-turned horizontal top and bottom guide-flanges and backturned opposite ends each back-turned end of the guide-member being provided with sharpened edges for entering woodwork at right angles to the out-er face of the guidemember and between said ends the guidemember having a spring-leaf extending parallel with and projecting outwardly between the horizontal top and bottom guide-flanges, of a bracket-member slidably engaging the flanges of the guide member and itself engaged bythe said spring leaf.
2. In a window-shade fixture the combination with a guide-member having inturned guide-flanges along its oppositeedges and between said flanges said member being provided with a longitudinally-extending spring-leaf which projects outwardly, of a bracket-member slidable in the guide-memher between said inturned guide-fianges over the outer side of the spring leaf and means coacting between the outwardly-projecting spring leaf and the bracket-member to lock the latter against longitudinal movement between the guide-flanges.
