Application filed September This invention relates to improvements in combined collar receptacles and neck wear holders for use in connection with mens wardrobes.

I have provided a compact and attractive article of general utility, which combines a neat appearing receptacle forcollars and collar buttons, cuff links and like articles, and a revoluble neck wear holder mounted under the receptacle and providing retaining means for a number of neckties, from which a necktie may be readily selected by revolving the necktie holding disc to a point from which the desired necktie, or nearest one to the operator maIy be selected. he receptacle of the device provides a depository for small articles of jewelry and also provides a storage space for clean collars, while the revoluble neck wear holder holds a number of neckties in position for instant selection and also keeps them in better shape than if put away loose in drawers, or placed on an ordinary neck wear ring.

The object of my invention is to provide a neat appearing compact article of the class described which provides a handy storage receptacle for clean collars and also provides an additional feature in theform ofarevoluble necktie holder, the whole as a unit, being provided with means for its convenient mount-- ing on any suitable object in mens wardrobes.

Another object of my invention is the provision of an article of the class described in which is mounted a mirror, so arranged that when the cover of the receptacle is swung open the mirror is positioned for use.

Other objects and advantages of my invention will be apparent with reference to the subjoined specification and accompanying one sheet of drawing, in which:

cular in shape and consists of an annular container 6, having a bottom 7, side wall '8 and open upper end 9.

The upper edge of the container is'provided with a shoulder, or bead,10 which provides a'seat for a cap 11, which cap is hinged to the container 6 by means of a hinge 12 and is adapted to swing upwardly to the dot and dash position shown in Figure 2 in which position it is held by the hinge 12.

The hinged cap 11 is provided on its under face with a mirror 13, which mirror is brought to position for use when the cap is swung to the clot and dash position above described. A knob, or handle, 14 provides means for readily raising the cap as described. v

The receptacle 6 is provided with a concentrically disposed cylindrical member 15, open at its upper end and provided with a false bottom 16 which provides a small compartment 17 for cuff links and collar buttons. Said receptacle is mounted upon a wall bracket 18 to which it is rigidly riveted by means of a plurality of rivets or the like 19.

The neck tie holder 20 consists of a metal disc 21 from which has been stamped a plurality of radially disposed spring clips 22 having their extremities 23 bent down to provide open spaces between these extremities and the disc to enable the intermediate portion of a neck tie to be readily wedged thereunder. The disc is notched, as indicated at 24:, to provide a. plurality of thumb-notches to enablea persons thumb to be readily placed upon any clip to release a selected neck tie from the clip.

The disc 21 is somewhat larger in diameter than the container 6 so that it may be readily v rotated to the desiredpoint. The disc is re- 9:; volubly mounted upon a spindle 25, having a head 26 at its outer end to hold said disc in position. The spindle 25 may consist of a small bolt having a threaded end 27 extending through a hole formed, centrally of the bottom 7 of the container and extending through thebracket 18. A jam nut 28 provides a spacer which bears against the under face of the bracket and a nut 29 is screwed upon the inner threaded end of the spindle and rigidly clamps the spindle to the container and bracket, as shown in Figure 2.

In Figure 3, I have shown av modified form of the holder 20 in which the disc 30 may be formed of 'metal or other material and the clips '31 may be formed separately and riveted thereto by rivets 32.

The space 33 formed in the container by the member 15 provides a recess in which collars may be deposited, which recess keeps the collars clean and fresh and in readiness for instant use.

' It is obvious from the foregoing description that I have provided a compact and neat article for the purpose described that will, in great measure, save considerable time and avoid immeasurable annoyance to those who are continually searching through drawers for collars, neckties and like accessories.

While I have shown and described the preferred embodiment of the invention it is of course to be'understood that I reserve the right to make such changes in the form, construction and arrangement of parts as will not depart from the spirit of the invention or the scope of the subjoined claims.

Having thus described my invention I claim:

1. An article of the class described, comprising a rigid support adapted for mountmg upon any sultable object, a centrally disposed spindle carried by said support and having a head formed at its lower end, a revoluble member mounted upon said spindle and consisting of a metal disc, a plurality of radially arranged spring clips formed'in said disc and terminating slightly below the edge thereof and having their extremities lying in a plane substantially paralleling that of the under face of the disc, and said disc having notches formed in its edge at points adjacent to said clip extremities to provide access to of the disc, and notches formed in the edge.
