More particularly it is our intention to provide an accessory merchandiser of the portable type having its parts so constructed and arranged as to facilitate convenient assembling and disassembling thereof and to afford convenient means for displaying accessories in a garage or at service stations vand so on.

With these and other object-s in view, our invention consists in the construct1on, ar-r rangement and combination of. the various parts of our accessory merchandiser, whereby the-objects contemplated are attained, as

Figure 1 illustrates a perspective view of an accessory merchandiser embodying our invention.

In the accompanying drawings we have shown a form in which our improved merehandiser may be embodied. In the bottom of. the merchandiser is a frame comprising a pair of laterally spaced angle bars indicated on the accompanyingv drawings by the reference character 10. These end members 10 are connected by longitudinal frame members 12, preferably angle bars.

The frame composed of the members 10 and 12, is supported on rollers 14 preferably of the caster typek for more conveniently moving the merchandiser from place to place. Extending upwardly from the corners of the lower frame are upright frame members 16 made of angle bars.

The two frame members 16 in each endof the device, are inclined toward each other as shown and Vare connected at each end of the device by angle iron frame members 18. T he members` 16 at the ends of the merchandiser, are covered and connected by. means of a top member 2O comprisingva downwardly opening channel arranged with the d flanges 201L overhanging the merchandiser at the front and rear as shown in Figure 1.

The top member 2O is-secured tothe upper end frame members 18 by means of screws 22 extending through the holes 24 in the top 20 and into vthe horizontal flanges of the members 18 as illustrated in Figure 4. f

Secured to the underside of thetop 20 near eachend thereof, is al pair -of angle brackets 26 slightly spaced from each other so as to provide between their downwardly hanging flanges, a space for the accessory board 28 which forms apartition and will hereinafter be more fully referred to.

The brackets 26 are so arrangedas to upper edge of the accessory board 28 as illustrated for instance in- Figure 2. .On theunderside of the top- 2O there vis arrangedA a shield and reflector 30 on which is supported pair of sockets 33 for ylhe ordinary current supplyr cord 136is properly electrically connectedV with the sockets 33.

About midway between the top and bottom of the devicewe provide a rectangular frame 38 composed of angleI bars bolted to the iianges of the members 16 as at 40; The end members of the frame 38 are also bolted as at 42'to the members 16 and on the bolts 42, are spacer sleevesorcollars 44 for leaving a space between the end members ofthe frame 38 and the adjacent ianges of ythe membersl 16 as Figure 6.

l Supported on the 'frame' 38is a iioor board l 46 which has secured to its side edges, strips 48 extending upwardly and downwardly from the board 46 and terminating short of the ends ofthe'frame 38 and the board 46 in the same plane with the flanges of the members 16 as shown in Figure 6 perhaps best illustrated in r1"he frame 38 is braced on its underside on the members lr6 by means of braces 50.

On what may for convenience be called the'front and rear of the merchandiser, we secure panes of glass 52 between the members 16 as shown in Figure 5.

Secured to the end angles of the members 16 by means of bolts 54, we provide a series of' angle iron brackets 56. On the bolts between' the brackets 56 and the end flanges of the members 16, are spacer sleeves 44 similar to those already described.

The brackets 56 serve to hold the panes of glass 52 in place. AtV the ends of the device are' panels 58 which can slide vertically between the end flanges 'of the memberl and the spaced brackets 56 as illustrated in Figure 5. These panels are fastened to the end members ofthe frame 38 by means of lscrew bolts 60. f f

In rassembling our merchandiser, one of the panels 58 is fastened in place. Before the other is installed, we remove the brackets 56 and yput the panes of glass 52 in place and lreplace the brackets 56, installing' one pane of glass before removing the brackets 56 for the othervpane.

In replacing the one set of brackets 56, we extend the cord 36 downwardly between the filler or spacer collars 44 and the adjacent. iglass52-as illustrated in 'Figure l and thenthrough a hole 62 in the floor board 46. iThe floor board 46 is provided on its upper surface with an upwardly opening channel 66.arranged in vertical alignment with the brackets 26. The display board partition member 28 is slid into theV merchandiser with its upper edges received between the `downturned flanges 26 and with its lower edge received between the upturned flanges of the channel bar66. i

.The remaining panel'58 is then Vslid upwardly from below with itsk side edgesreceived between the flanges of the member 16 and the frame 38 and the brackets 56, the bolt is installed and the device is then completed.

- w By remolving` the bolt 6`which holds one of the panels 58 and letting the panel drop down, ready access can be hadto the interior of the upper f part of the merchandiser.

storage or repairs.
