The present invention relates to improvments in display devices and consitutes a division of my oopending similarly entitled application, filed August 3, 1925,'Serial No.

An object of the'invention described and claimed herein is to provide an extremely light and inexpensive, yet strong devicefor holding a card, tag and, the like in display 2 windows or upon shelves for indicating the cost of goods or some other message in con nection with goods With the foregoing and'other objects in view, the invention will be more fully described hereinafter, and will. be more pal ticularly pointed out in the claims appended hereto.

Referring more particularly to Figure 1, the device is shown as madeof a single piece of sheet metal bent intermediately of its ends as indicated. at 21, and shown as providing two wing portions 22 and 23 at an angle, whereby the device may be set up upon either edge. of support is provided by this divergent wing structure, which prevents the device from tilting or falling over even when supporting a rather large card.

The upper edges of the wing portions are p shown as provided with slots 2% and 25 at substantially the same distance from the angle or corner, whereby to simultaneously receivethe'lower edge portion of a card' These slots are preferably made at an angle extending downwardly toward the corner portion in order to hold the card at a slight inclination, This inclination of the slots is also useful in avoiding undue weakening of the material, as other slots 26 and 27 are shown made in the loweredge of the wing portions. The inner edges of theseslots are spaced apart by the inclination given.

What is claimed is 1. A display device comprising a sheet body bent transversely to provide a. pair of wings extending at acute angles to one another and adapted to be reversably stood on either end with its angled connecting portion extending substantially vertically, said pair of wings having pairsof mating slots therein, one pair of slots opening through one end of thedevice and the other pair of slots opening throughthe other end of the device, said slots being"v inclined to the vertical in the set-up position ofthe de-i :vice with the open mouths of the slotsin approximate central parts of the respective wing edges and with the inner parts of the I slots in each wing remotefrom one another.
