IMPROVEMENT `IN REVOLVING DRV-GOODS STANDS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 16S, 131, dated September 28, 1875; application filed April 29, 1875.
A To all whom it may concern:
accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
The nature of my invention consists in the construction and arrangement of a revolving stand for exhibiting dry-goods, &c., as will be hereinafter more fully set forth.
In the annexed drawing, Figure 1 is a top View, and Fig. 2 is a vertical section taken on the line x a: of'Fig. 1. n
A represents a foot of suitable form and size, from the center of which rises a vertical rod or shaft, B. On this rod are placed two four-armed spiders, C C, so arranged 'as to revolve freely thereon, the ends of the arms of said spiders forming lian ges to grasp vertical i corner-posts D D, which are permanently secured thereto. To the posts D D are secured arms a a, for supporting the shelves EE.
These shelves are arranged in horizontal series around the four sides of the revolving frame, and the shelves of each series are mortised-into each other, so as to form a solid continuous shelf around the frame. b b repre- In combination with a revolving dry-goods stand, the wires or rods b b, attached to the front edge of the shelves on each side of the stand, substantially as and for the purpose herein set forth.
