This invention relates to front-strike typewritin machines equipped for typing u on mul-tip e-ply webs, the same being either anfoldedy or consisting of loose plies.

Having thus described my invention, I claim: c
1. A web-manifolding attachment for a revoluble platen typewriting machine havinga platen-frame, including a supporting vframe extending tangentially of the' platen upwardly and rearwardly therefrom, means for detachably mounting said supporting frame on the rear of said platen-frame, and a multiplicity of individually movable carbon-strippers mounted one behind another on said supporting frame, the rearmost stripper constructedl to carry the outermost l carbon, and the foremost stripper constructed to carry the innermost carbon.
