This invention relates generally to shaderollers ancl curtain-red supports such as used at windows and vthe like., The invention having more particular reference to a lnovel `type of combined shade-roller and curtainrod support.

Theinvention has foran object the provision ofv an adjustable shade-roller and .curtain-rod support.

A further vobject of the invention is ,the ;provision of an adjustable shade-roller and curtain-rod support of cheap construction and low cost.

For further comprehension vof the invention, and Vof the objects and advantages thereof, reference will be had to the ,following description and accompanying' drawings, and to the appendedclaims in which the .varouswno'vel features of theinvention are .more particularly set forth.

As here emboded our improved combined shade-roller and curtain-rod support comprises, a support 10, of any suitable design and shape, having apertures 11, to accommodate screws or the like, as a means of attaching the support 10 to the upper or top portion of a window frame, as clearly shown in Fig. 1. The support 10, is providedwlth curved elements 12, adapted to slidably support a shade-roller bracket 13, having its extremty 14 bent or formed, at right angles thereto, and provided with an aperture'l,

.It being understood that the shade-roller bracket 13 may be extended so as to accommodate shade-rollers 41 of various lengths, and that the said shade-roller bracket 13 may be held in any desired extended position by a screw 24, located adjacent to a suitably formed notch 25 at the extremity of the shade-roller bracket. The extended element 18 isprovided with an elongated slot 21 having enlarged'extremities 22, so as to permit the said curtain-rod bracket 17 to be slidably attached to the support 10, by means of a screw 23, threadedly attached to the support 10. It being understood that the enlarged'extremities 22, will permit the curtain-rod support 17 to be engaged or disengagedwith the support 10 by merely loosening the said screw 23, and that the curtainrod support 17 may be extended so as to accommodate curtain-rods of various lengths, and by tightening the screw23, that curtainrod support 17 may be held in any desired extended position. e
