My invention relates to newand useful improvements in electrical vibrators, and has for its object the provision of an'improved construction of this character, which is capable of economical manufacture and is highly eflicient in use.

The preferred form of construction as illustrated in the drawings comprises asuitable casing 10 having a removable cover 11, said casing being of an elongated rectangular shape andadapted and arranged to constitute a hollow handle. Arranged in the casing 10 is an electro magnet 12 arranged to be .supplied with alternating current through feed wires 13 through a leaf spring switch 14 carrying a button or flange 15 projecting laterally through the side wall of casing 10 in position to be pressed by the thumb of the operator to close the circuit through the ele'ctro-magnet 12 when desired. Gooperat- I ing with the magnet 12 is a vibrating armature 16 pivoted at 17 on a mounting block 18 which in turn is pivoted at 19 in the easing 10. An adjusting screw 20 is threaded in the block 18 and swiveled in the side wall of casing 10, a compression spring 21 being interposed between the block 18 and said side well. By this arrangement it will be noted that the end of the armature 16 may be nicely adjusted with reference to the magnet 12. The armature 16 is operatively connected by stud 22 to the central portion of the leaf spring 23,-which is mounted at' one end on a supporting post 24 secured to the side wall of casin 10. 'The other end of spring 23 is attache to adjust-able block 25 slidable inthe socket 26 on the side wall of casing 10.
The block 25 isthreaded. on an adjusting screw 27 and cooperates with the compression spring 28 whereby the tension of the leaf spring23may be nicely adjusted, as deture 16.

The mem-' ber 46 may be any suitable or desired vibrator appliance, such as a rubber massage contact piece, an eraser or other desiredappliance which it is desired to vibrate at high speed. In this way a very simpleandeffective device for vibrating various appli ioo ances is provided which is ca able. of eco-' nomical manufacture and is highly eficient in' use.
