Application4 flcdJaiiuary This invention relates Vto improvements in store fixtures and more `particularlyYto lixtures of the revolving type vand the'objects of the-inventicnrare toprovide# -af simply constructed, durable device of this character, adapted to be placed between a store and a warehouse or the like supplying the store, for the convenient delivery of goodsrfroin the warehouse direct to the customers pationizing the store.
Further objects are to provide an improved store fixtur-efof this character-that can also be used for displaying the goods to be sold. Y
A still further object is the provision of labour saving means of this description whereby the goods or the like in a warehouse can be placed thereon anddclivered to purchase-rs in as store in practically one opera-V tionand whereby instead of lirst carrying the goods from the warehouse and then arranging them in the store 'they are arranged on my improved device in tho'warehouse, which on beingrotated displays thc articles to the would-be purchasers in the store. In short my improved store hx ure constitutes a combined delivering and displaying stand for goods. y v With the foregoing and othergobjects in view, the invention consists essentially of a plurality of shelves arranged one abovethe other, preferably of circular formation and adapted to be rotatably mounted between the store and a warehouse for supplying goods to the store, in such a. manner that one-half of the shelving will communicate with the store or the like, andthe other half with the adjoiningwarehouse.
The invention therefore Aconsists more essentially of a. rotatable fixtureV adapted to be placed between a store and an adjoining V- warehouse or the like, whereby improved means for serving the public are provided and with the use of which considerable la-V Figure 2 isa side elevationv of my im` provedV fixture, partially broken away to show the operating means, Y l

Figui'e '5 .is a plan viewfofffa sectioncf the track, and Y v vFigure; 6`-`isa` detail ofthe kingus'tud;
ln'thef drawings, A designates aplurality of shelves arranged one above the other as here shownr in circular formation. `On the under side of the base 10'of the shelves is arranged a circular track l1 whereby :in y
combination with mechanism, hereinafter more fully described, the shelving isv rotated. This mechanismcomprises,` as illustrated more particularly in'jFigures 1 and, a f crown gear 12 rotatably mounted on ay floor vplate 13 and held in lposition by a king stud 14. Vith this crown gear arevdesigned V to engage a plurality of bevelled pinions l5 rmounted on a. plurality of radiating shafts 16 on the other ends of which are hanged rollers 17 Adesigned to engage Vwith the circular track 11.V The shafts 16 are rotata mounted on suitably fixed bearings 18 and y19 supported by pillow blocks 20, the pillow blocks supporting the `bearings 18l being carv ried lby Vthe floor plate 18,. the whole` being operated by VVmeans of thel priine'inover 21- connected to a Vpulley E22 by a belt 23. The. pulley 22 is keyed tothe shaftQt which is rotatablyjmounted in thegear boxQ, .the y inner "end ofthe shaft 2d being formed with a wormV adapted to engage the. worin gear 26 keyed to one vof the radial drive sliafts'l. K
From theforegoing itwill be. seen that on the motor or prime mover being operated the sliaft-24hwill be rotated, causing the worin 26V to rotateV one of the. shafts 16.
The rotation of ,this shaft cans-'es the bevel.
gear V'15* which is in mesh withnthe crown gear 12 to rotate, thereby operating all the y shafts 16 with' the rollers 417 thereon. The
' guide rollers contacting withgthe'track 11 cause it to rotate, thereby revolving`` the shelving.
As many changes could be` 'made inthe y above 1 construction and many apparentlywidely dillerent embodimentsof myinvention, within the scope of the' claims, cen-v or scope thereof,'it is intended that all inatter` contained lin the accompanyingspecil`icat-ion and drawings, shall be interpreted in an illustrative and Vnot in a.l limiting sense.

In arevolving store ixture,"ac'tuating the drive shaft, whereby, onl the prime mover being` operated, the crown gear and the radiating` shafts are simultaneously operated, a` guidewayon the fixture and means carried by theV radiating shafts adapted to engage with said guideway to rotate the iX- ture. o
2. In a revolving store fixture, actuating mechanism comprising a prime mover', a
drive shaft, a` Worm thereon, pulley and belt connecting means between the drive Shaft i5 and the primeV mover, a. crown gea-r, a piuraiity of radiating shafts provided with pinions adapted to meshy with the erown` gear, one of said shafts being provided with a worm gear to engage with the worm on 20 FRANK BIGKNELL MITCHELL.
