Referring; to these drawings; the case inade up of two strips 1() and 11 of flexible material, suchv as leather or the like. These tiro strips, Wh ich are usually ot equal Width, are partially oi'erlapped as indicated, in such a manner that the non-overlapping` portions are extended in opposite directions and the side edges 12 ot the overlapped portions lie in substantially coincident relation. The overlapped `portions are then fastened to gether along, or adjacent to, their coincident margins, as by the stitehinggs 13 (see Fig'.- 2). The result that the strip forms a baci; 111, to which the key holders 15 are attached as by the plate 16, such back having a foldable 'flap 1T and being reentoreed by the overlapped portion 18 oit the strip 11, the portion 18 having a toldable flap l19. In Fig. T the end edges 2l are shown as drawn together intermediate their ends to provide for the extension of the perimeter of the key enclosure.

The lines of fold of flaps 17 and 19 are defined at opposite ends of the case and the flaps are prevented from folding along other y lines which are closer together by the fastening together ot the overlapped portions o1 strips 10 and ll. The perimeter ot' they key enclosure adjacent the ends of the case is there-tore constairt7 or substantiallyso.

The space between the overlapped portions of strips l() and l1 may be utilized as a pocket for the reception of automobile registration and license papers or the like. For the purpose o'f preventing these papers from sliding ont from one side of this pocket, the edge 2l oli strip 1l may be partially stitched near its ends to strip 10, as shown at` 23. Stops are thus 'formed for the purpose described. At the saine tinie,'the central portion of edge 2l is free to permit eX- tension of the perimeter of the key enclosure. substantially as above described. A pocket which can be completely closed, may be provided Without interfering with the extension of the flaps, as shown in Fig. Il. A strip 25, of thin, soft lining leather, is doubled over, as shown, and inserted in the space between the overlapped portions 14 and 1S to :form a. pocket. The folded strip 25 `will be held at its ends by the stitchings i3 and its other :free edges a-restitched7 one to portion 18 and the other to portion 14.
