This invention relates to electric miniature lamp holders or supports.

More particularly it is directed to a lamp holder or support adapted for use in conand which shall be simple in construction and efficient in operation to a high degree. Other objects of this invention will in part be obvious'and in part hereinafter set forth. The invention accordingly consists in the features of construction, combinations of elements and arrangement of parts which will be exemplified in the construction hereinafter described and of which the scope of application will be indicated in the following claims.

Fig. 1 shows a Christmas tree lighted with miniature lamp holders or supports embodying this invention;

Referring in detail to the drawing, there isv shown in Fig. 1 a Christmas tree 10 decorated with miniature lamps 12 supported from the limbs 11 of -the tree. These lamps are each held in the lamp holder and support embodying this invention. The latter comprises a cylindrical body portion 13 of such diameter and .heigl1t as'to give the effect, when the lamp is in place, of a small candle. Formed in the top of the holder is a recess 14 in which is fitted a metallic socket 15.
