Our invention relates to a guard for electric V heaters or the like, and moreparticularly to V a device of that character for protecting the heater elementi rom damage by contact with 5 exterior objects, and persons or articles from injury or damage by contact with the heater element, thegprincipal object of the invention being to provide a guard of that kind which is simple and economical in construction and assembly and in-which the parts are more securely connected than are those of the guards in ordinary use. 7
