The present invention relates specifically plemental knob or handle 4 to which may be to cutters particularly adapted for the cutsecured a pull cord 5 which may be used by ting of linoleum and similar materials. a helper to assist in the cutting operation.
At the presenttime it is customary in the The blade carrying member is preferably 5 art to which the present invention relates to provided with a lower substantially flat 60 cut or trim the edges of linoleum b the linoleum engaging face 6 and with a dependuse of a knife having a curved cutting lade, ing rib or head 7 projecting therebelow and the blade being pulled across and through constitutinga guiding means. In the cutting the material to be cut. A knife of this charoperation it is customaryto overlap the re- 10 acter has not been altogether satisfactory Spective edges E and E which are to be 65 for the reason that it is comparatively ditlicut, as clearly shown in FigureM 1, and` then cult to produce a straight edge therewith and move the cutter thereacross.
