I claim as my invention. 7 I

1. A basket ball goal including a ring, extensions integral with saidf'ring adapted to .beattached directly to a support and an auxiliary supporting means adapted to co operate with said extensions, said auxiliary means including a pair of webbed angle irons. g V 2. extensions integral with said ring adapted to be attached directly toa support and an auxiliary supporting means adapted to cooperate withsaid extensions, said auxiliary means including a pair! of webbed angle irons and two horizontally extending plates adapted, to be attached to said angle irons and to securely clamp said extensions.

3. A basket ball goal including a substantially circular ring, portionsot said ring being downwardly and outwardly directedto provide an'att'aching means, and an auxili ary attaching means so constructed'as to complete the gap formed by such downward and outward directed portions.

4. A basket ball goal including a ring,'a'

gap in said ring formed by attaching means integral with said ring and supplementary attaching means adapted to form a complementary portion to fill the gap in the ring.
